The pack I received is not exactly as pictured but is actually better. There is padding on the part that touches the back and it has material that helps whisk away moisture and keep your back cooler. Another plus that was not pictured is that when the small shield bag detaches, it has a shoulder strap inside that clips into the clips allowing it to be worn as a shoulder bag. Overall, I am impressed so 5 stars coz I know my boy is gonna love his new bag.

I bought this backpack for my youngest son who is five years old it is the perfect size for a kindergartner and the material is a nice quality compared to some others. I recommend this backpack.
