I started doing these recently, and this is my second one already. I have a severe case of OCD, so I had to use the straightening tool so that all rows and columns were exactly the same. Eyeballing doesn’t always work, and you’d be surprised how crooked they really are. I usually start at the bottom and just slide the tool up to the very top...slowly... so the beads don’t pop off (it happens). I do this painstakingly throughout the project so I’m not doing it all at the end. My first one dealt only with letters, but this one has very hard-too-read symbols like /, #, >,<, %, etc. it’s important to have good lighting, so either use a lightbox, or have a really good light shining on your project.I have to say these are very addicting.

As always with Amazon I received this diamond painting and some other items quickly. There are similarities in the actual picture versus the image on Amazon but it is not exactly like the picture on the screen. The actual picture does not show the 'nails' and things like that. My biggest issue is the size of the picture. The canvas says it is a 30cmx40cm which is a 12"x16". The picture portion is not that. It is 9.75"x13.75". I wish the vendors wouldlist the 'canvas' size and the 'picture' size. So am very disappointed in that because I will not be able to get a frame for it. I am making it as a gift for my niece. The best part is the drill gems are bright and shiny! I would order from this vendor again but would be more aware of the sizing.

I gave this to my mother who liked diamond painting. It looks fabulous when done -- the color scheme and design sparkle. My mother put it on her front door and she gets a lot of compliments on it.

The quality of the canvas was surprisingly good for an inexpensive product. Painting looks just like the rendering, very few bad drills. Pretty pleased with everything.

Some spots were a little difficult to stick to, but pressing it down with a book (all I have available to me now) appears to make everything stick. Easy to read, but the butterfly does lose a bit of definition, which is to be expected from the size of the picture. The flowers are still clear, but I wish the "E" was a slightly different color to stand out more from the background. The key also blends in a little bit, but not bad enough to disappear entirely. I'm currently waiting to get this framed, but I may try to update this when I do to show how it looks.

This was my first diamond painting! I used blue painter's tape to hold down the canvas after putting heavy books on top of it to make sure it was flat. I was a little nervous about using the end of the tool to place 4 diamonds at a time, but I discovered that it was quite easy to use. I loved that the covering over the canvas was clear so I could see my progress. The adhesive on the canvas was perfect! The symbols were easy to see, and there were plenty of diamonds left over when I finished. The picture was colorful and AWESOME!!! After I completed the picture, I put the plastic back over it and placed heavy books on top of it. No diamonds have popped off or moved on the canvas... This is a perfect picture to do, especially for a beginner!

I loved the project, this was my second purchase of this. However on the second purchase the picture was not same as the first...the advertisements shows more on the picture than was on the canvas I received. Not sure why this is so. I was still able to complete the project as it was only missing a few rows on each end. The main part of the project HOME was not cut off. All and all its a beautiful keep sake.

First of all the actual print is only 9" x 13". So much smaller then stated. The picture was easy to do & follow instructions. I really enjoyed working on this print. Very pleased with the look. The problem may be to find a frame to fit.

This is a very nice picture,I am new to this craft,am working on it,and really like it.the only negative is it didnt come in a box was rolled in plastic causing some creasing
