36 Volt Battery Desulfator

Installed with six each, 3 year old Trojan 105, 6 volt batteries about two months ago. Our cold and hot (Reno Nevada) seasons stress our batteries (EZGO golf carts) significantly, which see over 1,200 miles service each year between shop, home and farm. Terrain has 15% grades, and we tow up to 500 pound trailers with 24" diameter tires on our carts (high amp demands). An improvement is noticed with a range increase of about a mile. Now we're heading into the teens and zero degree temperatures that stress our batteries further, and the cold is taxing for the equipped, and unequipped that have 6 year old "interstate" batteries which are weakening to only a two mile range. This may be an unfair test and it is too early to really cast a final decision about the BLS device, but there is enough improvement for me to have a positive opinion about it. In the spring of 2015, we may duplicate the purchase for our other carts, or try another brand/system. Easy to install and no negative effects. With new batteries costing upwards of a thousand dollars per set, this device seems to be worth the price.

This product is smaller than it appears in the picture. I understand that this device needs to be connected for about 3 weeks for complete lead acid battery plate desulfation to take place. This is perfect for Solar cell systems and any other deep cycle applications. The biggest selling point is that it will save you some money as it increases the life span of batteries that you already own rather than replacing them. ** After using the unit for some time, it tends to reduce the charging current over time thus saving you money in energy consuption over and above the cost of replacing batteries.

I got this desulfator to help condition my aging cart batteries. It never worked as described and I think it actually ran the run time down. Do your research before buying any charger or battery accessory.

I installed this on my 5 year old EZ-Go golf cart. The batteries were not lasting as long. After about 2 months use, this has shown some noticeable improvement to the peep and battery life between charges. I don't believe it is the complete solution to just replacing the batteries, but has helped my situation. Not to mention saved me 6x the money.

not sure it actually does any thing never really noticed a difference at all .
