Pretty gift for those with thicker hair. Doesn't stay well in fine/thin hair though, it just falls out.

Very pretty. It was a long wait because the order didn't arrive and I had to ask for a replacement. I am glad the replacement finally arrived. (Thank you, seller.) The holding power was very weak, so I pulled the squeeze release out in the opposite direction of the squeeze action. This increased the holding strength and it now works perfectly for my hair. The amount of hair has to be adjusted to the barrette. As others have said, it's not very large.

Pretty but haven't used yet. Kinda afraid it's going to break because my hair is so thick and you can tell it isn't super sturdy.

I always worry when buying things like barrettes sight-unseen, because so many are flimsy and break or don't clasp and stay. This one is not only very pretty, it is solid (quite heavy actually) and holds a a good amount of hair firmly in place. It is well-made with solid construction. It is true to the photo on Amazon and I would buy it in more colors if there were more!

I absolutely love the looks of this. It's very pretty, but as someone else mentioned, it is small. (2.5" long). My reason for the 2 stars is that I've worn it twice and it just broke. I can't get the clasp to stay closed. It's a shame too, because it is pretty.

Smaller than I thought. So it isn’t as sparkly as I wanted it to be. If you want something subtle this is perfect for you.

Beautiful clip but is a bit heavy but for my hair it is ok it will stay put but for thin hair maybe better look for something smaller or lighter
