Q: Will this cut through Mylar?

I think this product is meant to cut paper. If your Mylar is very thin, it might work. However, my experience with these kinds of punches in general is that they don't like to cut anything heavy. This one will cut lightweight cardstock, but I use it very sparingly for that.

Q: Would this work for a 30mm cabochon?

The punch-out dimension of this punch is a precise 1 1/8 inch circle (28.6mm).

Q: What's the furthest from the edge of the paper that you can punch with this? I'm looking for a longer reach than my current one like this, 12mm max

So I got a even piece of paper and pushed it all the way to the back and stamped. The measurement from edge of the punched hole to the end of the paper was a centimeter, or 10mm.

Q: Is it possible to line up images?
