Cassettes are still valuable for copyiing
Believe it or not, I still have several pieces of music that I use to listen and even record on tape. I have a great collection of cassettes, and I sometimes record some of my vinyl onto these cassette tapes.

An amazing tape I've used for years...
This amazing 90 minute Type 1 compact cassette reminds me of when I used them back in my youth. Modern digital music formats ain't got nothing on the Sony HF Compact Cassette, which has a warmth only a quality tape has. And, when it's recorded using a high quality recorder or deck, the level of tape hiss is very low (but not zero). I also used it for taping class notes in college.Because of how inexpensive this tape is, the value for money is very high indeed.I've used this tape model as my preferred tape on the following:GPX CAS 307PYLE dual cassette deck (yes, the deck I just got yesterday)Sony CFD-S70Various models from the long discontinued Lenoxx Sound brandSony Pressman TCM-16 (the portable recorder I had in college), and several Sony Walkman modelsSeveral Realistic/Optimus/RadioShack modelsThe Sony HF was, and still is, a fantastic tape. Buy some already...

I’m an old cassette lover.
I liked the price and the sound quality to my ears is great. If you are associated with music these may not be for you. I own a Sony stereo cassette recorder that records and plays my music perfectly fo me. I also have a cassette player in my car and a large collection of cassette tapes I enjoy listening to.

Hard to find … but they work.
With the shift to digital it’s hard to come by these. This is a decent normal bias cassette. The reproductions made on them are “ok” but if you’re looking for blank cassettes, these are a decent option.

WHAT'S TO REVIEW? WORKS AS EXPECTED
I just needed more tapes to record more "Says You!" programs so I ordered these. Hard to find in stores anymore!! What can I say? They work fine. But I don't do music on them.

Even after all these years, these are great tapes!
I got some TDK D90s, some Maxell 90s and these. I had trouble with the reels sticking on the TDKs and Maxells. The Sonys seem better constructed. May even sound better. I'll be buying the Sonys from now on.

Clear, Crisp Sound
I have an 18 year old Mazda Miata with a tape deck and wanted some new music in the car. These Sony tapes yielded excellent sound - quite a bit better than expected. My wife even commented on the qulity of the sound (likely compared to the old tapes that I've had in the car for 10 plus years and are worn to the bone - but that's okay). High quality, right price, no complaints at all.
