Wow! What can I say…hmmm…I love it. Definitely not for everyone though. Salty Licorice sounds a bit off putting and may be to the faint taster. However, I’ve shared it with many who have become instant fans. It’s fun to see the reactions of those trying it for the first time. It is what you might call an acquired taste. Great for keeping you at your desk without all that refined sugar. Very good wi coffee and hot tea.

At first, tastes like a mixture of licorice, salt, and chicken droppings. The latter two come from ammonium chloride, the key ingredient (sal ammoniac, whence "salmiaki"). After a few days, I was used to it; after a couple of weeks, I just loved it. It's now my favorite licorice. Makes up, to some extent, for the demise of Meloids.

I’m was born in Sweden and grew up eating salty licorice. Jatte Salt & Dracula Pillar are among my favorites. These weren’t quite salty enough for me.

Super Salmiakki----the best flavor and nice big size. What more is there to say. These are great and just what I expected.

Wow, these were terrible. I like licorice and I like salt so I was looking forward to them. But OMG, one of the grossest things I've ever eaten. Just a terrible taste and even worse aftertaste. So bad I had to spit them out in the trash and I threw the rest of the bag, and a second bag, away. All the way from Finland to end up in a trash can in the U. S. And also they are very hard. Too hard.

Heard of these on a BBC show as a Finish favorite and like to try new things. Can’t say I enjoyed the taste, but they came quickly and well packaged, and I like that they are made in Finland.

I LIKED IT OK. YOU HAVE TO AQUIRE A TASTE FOR IT

Unique flavor that I enjoy but others may not appreciate. Slightly bitter but you can carry in a pocket without them melting. Somewhat pricey but worth it to me.
