Catholica Shop Devotional Corded Prayer Beads Rosary Bracelet

This is odd. I have reviewed this item already. First, I’ll say that I wear a rosary around my wrist. I lost one during the last hurricane. I was gifted one but I already need a new full size due to an altercation with a parrot. I’m simple. I like wood beads and twine. It serves to calm me. However it does get in the way during a quick clean up and I need to feel protection and healing around me right now. Out of curiosity, I looked for praying the rosary bracelets. I found many beautiful things. But not functional to truly pray the rosary. Not for a novice trying to find my way. I kept passing by this piece. It almost looked fake, plastic. Uniform beads. No personality. The pictures didn’t show any reference so I wasn’t sure if it opened all the way up, like the coin bracelet, but I suspected that it didn’t. I was correct. But only about that. About the bracelet I couldn’t have been more wrong. It appears sort of cheap looking because it’s so delicate that the picture is enlarged. The delicate little bracelet is something that I know I’ll end up with more of because I’m not gentle. It is absolutely exquisite. I don’t care that it doesn’t fully open because I need the guarding of St. Benedict. Rosary beads have always reminded me of my grandmother. And soothed me to touch and meditate. But I don’t recall or know enough to know about all of the saints. This bracelet chose me. The coin bracelet is shown on a wrist and looks like larger beads. Eventually I’ll get one. But this is the ONLY bracelet rosary that I found on amazon or otherwise that functions as a full 5 decade rosary. The crucifix. The central bead. This bracelet could only be improved by using a different clasp. I’m not well. My fingernails just peel. And the spring action for the lobster claw is so hard for me. Maybe a toggle version will come out. But I can’t tell you how delicate, dainty, and beautiful this is. Add in the fact that is so carefully madd as to be a rosary completely suitable for praying, should you find the need you have it right with you. I am not a product tester. I was not given this item and have had no communication with the seller. I’m just someone who says things exactly as I see them. If you don’t like the wood bead and twine style, maybe not for you. For me it seems so much more organic and durable. If it was just easier to take on and off!!! Update: 2 years later this bracelet is still holding up and I ordering I new one thinking I’d broken and lost it. Turns out there’s no reason to worry about the clasp. They actually slip over my wrist. Who knew? After 2 years this delicate little charming rosary is still intact and used and only comes off when I go into the water. I don’t know how they do it, but it’s a far cry better than wearing the long rosary wrapped around my wrist and having it dangling. And they always broke. And yet it has equal the number of decades. Amazing! I really can’t say enough of these. Not everyone wears their rosary around their wrist but for anyone else who does, try one of these. I don’t think you’ll toss out your full rosary, but you’ll love always having one with you any time you feel the need.

I love this rosary. The wooden beads are beautiful in color and smooth to the touch. Very light weight and I don’t stress about getting it wet when I wash my hands. I hook my clasp above the first bead so it isn’t very loose on me. I have worn this rosary for months and it still looks new and the wood beads have a shine to them as well. Great gift for a loved family member as well!

I love my rosary bracelet, it's quite nice looking and very stylish. However, the bracelet/beads are very small, and so if you are looking to use it during prayer- I don't think it will be particularly practical unless you have VERY small hands. My hands aren't the biggest, and I have trouble keeping track of which bead I am on when I've attempted to use when praying the rosary. That said - I knew what I was buying when I saw it was small- as advertised. I personally just hoped I would be able to also use it, but it is mostly just an accessory rather than a practical prayer rosary.

This is WAY too small. Won't even wrap around my wrist. I don't know what type of person could even fit this on them. They barely fit my 9 year old!
