IMUSA USA Black 4.8Qt Nonstick Caldero with Glass Lid and Steam Vent (Dutch Oven), 4.8-Quarts

I had an Imusa caldero in the past that I loved with my gas stove. I bought this one because the manufacturer stated that this model can be used on glass top stoves. It cannot. It has a bare aluminum bottom with sharp ridges. The bottom is not smooth at all. It would not create even heat on a glasstop, it would badly scratch and leave bare metal residue on the stove. Disappointed at the misleading description. It amazes me that sellers still rarely show the bottom of a pot or pan considering how common glass top stoves are.? It makes it a guessing game to purchase online.

Is a perfect size for cooking for 4 .the only don’t like is hand clean.

Perfect size for family of 4 Non stick and clean is a breeze rice slides right off. I use this to make my Spanish rice.

I should have known the metal handles would be an issue but I wasn’t thinking… You will absolutely need to handle this with pot holders (which I am not accustomed to doing since every other pot I own has plastic handles). Stupid mistake on my part, but I didn’t realize they made pots this way anymore I guess.

Lightweight, is not heavy. Didn't require a lot of oil to keep food from sticking. Wanted something smaller for arroz con gandules, big enough to make enough for four people.

The inside of the rim melted when I boiled water.

Very good quality, light weight. Good for Asian style cooking. Needs very less oil to fry doesn't stick anything. I have used for deep frying also. It's almost similar to Indian kadai. Only one problem is that handles are getting heated up and you need to hold it with some cloth pads.
