You get what you pay for
The knife was a waste for me. I use knifes all day everyday for my job instead of making a list of all of the faults of this blade and the fact they don't send the one you see in the picture I would recommend spending the same money to get a Morakniv

Blade has large blemish on tip
Quality is sub-par and the tip of the blade had a large bump in the metal like it was sharpened by novice in a rush. I am disgusted with this order.

Meh...
I've had this knife for quite a few years. I thought it was awesome when I was younger, but not so sure now.I do like that the knife snaps into the hard plastic case. It releases with just a bit of thumb pressure. I'm not a huge tanto fan, and really not keen on the fact that it's only ground/sharpened on one side--I think it cheapens the knife. To be honest, I've never needed a knife around my neck, and that's one of the reasons it has been relegated to the "extra crap" box. At the price, I'd save a few more bucks and invest in a good Swiss Army Knife or by a Mora knife at an even better price.

Awsome Camper
I have had this knife for years and still love it. Keeps a good edge and easy to sharpen. Have always kept it handy with my fire starter attached to the chain. When camping in Black Bear country, the piercing whistle is an added plus. Here are the things that I feel make it a must have:1) It is on a neck chain (easily replaced with paracord if you prefer) with a "lock in place" hard plastic sheath...no velcro! Believe it or not, the knife hanging from the neck is very handy and you have easy access to the knife.2) The size is great for average camping needs. No, I don't think this is the only knife you should take into the bush, but it will certainly be the one you use most.3) The back of the knife can be used to strike a spark with your fire starter (I recommend the "Light My Fire" style starter over the magnesium bar....has a much better spark.)4) It has a full tang even though some would say the holes in the handle would cause the tang to be weaker....please, this is not a Bowie knife/ military bayonet survival knife, so don't expect it pry or cut wire. It's only 7" from tip to butt. The blade is just over 3".5) The grip is great even when your hands are wet...a man with XL hands may not agree. As long as you are not a Rambo type individual, you will appreciate this highly functional and useful knife.... cannot go wrong with this, and the price is very affordable.

Love this Knife!
This is a really, really cool fixed blade knife. It did not come with a neck chain, but after re-reading the item description it doesn't say it does, so no big deal. I used paracord instead of the metal chain. I bring this with me whenever we go hiking or camping or anything outdoorsy. Love it!
