Some Noteworthy Shortcomings
There’s nothing difficult about mounting the front camera to a windshield. Even routing cables isn’t difficult. Picture quality is good. The device is quite small and easily hidden from view.However, here’s a list of frustrations:* GPS only functions, apparently, if you subscribe to the $12 monthly cloud service;* The camera has no power switch;* WiFi is terrible. Sitting 2’ away my iPhone couldn’t stay connected. Hotspot in the garage was worse;* The EZ connector is very “iffy”. In park mode, you won’t know if your car battery is draining till the next morning. In fairness this is partly due to the proprietary pin-out each car adds to the OBDII...the pin-out can’t be changed to suit your particular manufacturer. Even the manual switch doesn’t toggle pin 16 (12vdc power pin) making it unreliable; Draining my huge AGM battery would result in the need to replace it at $500+. I just unplug it...a pain in the butt;* Mounting ANY rear cam on a hatchback window is an exercise in hell! This bundle doesn’t make it any easier;* The unit, inside a garage, idles along at 95-100 degrees F. It runs very hot. (May be the reason for the poor WiFi);* There’s really nothing innovative with this cam bundle.I give it 3 stars. Nothing special.

Good product easy to install.
Great camera! Easy to install. Both front and back. Cord tucks away easily in the crevices of the car to get to the back camera. Too me about an hour to do install this in my car. Quality is good.
