Perfect fit for anyone - Made well and comfortable fit
This is a perfect CAM walker for anyone. Do not be afraid to order the size the chart recommends according to your shoe size. This walker fits me regardless if I have severe swelling or not and in my case that is a wide range. I find this walker to be a reasonable weight. It's not the heaviest I've encountered but it is the most comfortable of the CAM walkers I've used. It's made very well, comes with plenty of extra pads for comfort (use them to protect against the hard surfaces or to fill for a better fit) and the air valve is made very well. Simple to inflate and deflate. A quality CAM walker for a fraction of the price a medical supply company would charge you or your insurance for the exact same product. I evaluated all of the CAM walkers Amazon offered and after careful consideration, this is the product I chose. I am very glad I did.

OCEAN & Pool USUABLE, wonderful item!
Can use in Ocean/pool with care....Fractured 4 bones metatarsal and no cast but needed this boot. Vacation already planned. After 2 days stairring at the Ocean could not take any longer, went in with boot. It wants to float so beware, is heavy with water coming out. Just bend your knee let water drain from toe area for a few. It will smell if you don't wash with soap from salt water. The downside is it doesn't dry fast. I wore mine wet, out with a plastic bag to keep my fresh elastic wrap dry. Then I decided to order another boot for going out. This price is fantastic that you can buy 2 and still be cheaper than supply stores.Holds up great, doesn't affect the inflation at all. I searched all over for ideas and only thing I found was a plastic cover but I wanted to go in water to my neck. So my suggestion if your pool or beach bound get 2 boots, 2 elastic wraps and maybe a waterproof boot cover. Cover helps with sand in dry boot but not needed if you have 2 boots one wet & one dry. Great product! And my second boot was a direct order from Marrs comany to my condo in Florida. They shipped overnight for me at my expense but like I said I enjoyed my vacation.Hope this helps vacationers!

A necessary purchase. Turned out to be a smart one, too.
Sprained my ankle quite badly. Three weeks out, and it's still bruised and swollen. Glad I ordered this the first week. The Orthopedic dr wants me to continue wearing it when I'm out and about for a few more weeks. He didn't know that I ordered it myself and didn't get this at another doctor or the ER. Easy to use, and the small size fit my small foot with room to spare (size 7.5-8 shoe). I was concerned because of the mass amount of swelling at my ankle, as well as my rather large calves, but I had nothing to worry about. Very adjustable with the air pump and the straps. It's not super heavy, but supportive. I know I would have messed my ankle up again a few times if I hadn't had this on. I even use this to drive with when I have to (I use my left foot on the brakes for faster stopping time). The liner is hand washable, even with the pump. Just hang it up overnight to dry, and it does (at least, in AZ it does).Just an fyi.. it may cause you to be a little off. Wear a shoe on your other foot with a thick sole/heel. It will help.

Low price, comfortable, GET SMALLER SIZE
GET A SIZE SMALLER THAN YOU THINK YOU WOULD NEED.You DEFINITELY need to take the sizing advice and go smaller than you'd think. I wear men's Reebok shoes in size 11-11.5 normally, and I wear XL/XXL wakeboard bindings. I thought I'd need a XL or L boot because of this, but I read the reviews and product description cautioning to go smaller. Based on the sizing chart, I went with a MEDIUM and I can't even see my toes with the boot on.Some reviews claim the sides dug into their legs. I'm not sure how, because I need wide shoes and have large calves and this medium doesn't dig into my foot at all. It came with two removable pads you could shove wherever you need to in order to cover any pressure points but I haven't even used them.I've only used it for a week so I can't talk about durability, and I've never used another brand or boot before so I can't compare it to anything. Since I transitioned to this from a cast non-weight bearing I think the boot is a huge improvement. What I can tell you is that it fits me great, has enough adjustability in the straps and air pump to feel comfortable. The air definitely slowly leaks out some throughout the day. I can tell throughout my workday that the air pressure has dropped, so I add some more pumps as needed. My guess is that the valve isn't as strong as one on a blood pressure cuff so it's probably slowly leaking from there. It isn't terrible or anything, I just notice it doesn't keep all of the air in 100%. The knob valve spins clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to deflate, but I noticed you can twist the knob too far beyond "fully closed" by accident so it starts over and you have to twist it a bunch more to get back to "closed", so that's probably why the air can escape slightly over the hours. The point of the air is to stabilize the sides of the ankle and leg to make walking easier, safer, and more comfortable so DO NOT over-inflate it. Just add enough air to make it feel comfortable and stable for your leg.Overall for only $39 delivered it's better than paying more money for something that may not be any better.

DO NOT BUY - TOTAL piece of junk!
Absolute junk. I wore this for two days while on a business trip. The air release valve is at a terrible spot where the Velcro strap constantly rubs on the valve and releases the air from the boot. The strap of Velcro rubbing on the valve has made a hole in the strap. The boot is worthless without the air in it to securely hold your foot/ankle. I was on a 4 day trip and only wore it two days, I was risking more injury to my foot by it moving around in the boot without the air. I ended up using the orthopedic shoe that my doc had given me instead, just until I got back home and could get a REAL boot that wasn’t a piece of junk. The problem with the air valve releasing air and the Velcro deteriorating is a common problem, I was in a time crunch and needed the boot by Friday, I ordered on a Tuesday night, otherwise, I would have ordered from a more trusted brand and seller.
