Great quality and fit
I purchased the 1 Liter Grosche carafe as a replacement for a broken Bodum one over a year ago. I was hesitant because a previous after market carafe had cracked and broken the first time I washed it. I was certain that I hadn't caused the crack and subsequent break. It looked like the glass was flawed. This carafe fit correctly, and has held up very well with regular use. I usually put it on the top shelf of the dishwasher. It is at least as good as the Bodum version, perhaps better. And it cost about half as much.

An excellent product. Great value.
This was an exact fit/replacement for the glass that broke on my French press. I used measurements to determine the size I needed.I specifically purchased THIS item because of its Made in Canada status and, at this time, I want to show some extra love to my brothers and sisters North of me.This company also has a social conscience, which is a bonus.Very happy with my purchase from this Canadian company.

Better than original
Fits my 34 oz Bodum Chambord perfectly. Thicker glass, nicely embossed, feels solid well made using good borosilicate glass. Absolutely super value.

A perfect fit.
Just what I needed to replace the broken 34 oz glass of my French press. Much less expensive than replacing the whole coffee maker. Heat resistant borosilicate glass.

Great replacement for the standard Bodum beaker, at a nicer price!
We have loved our basic Bodum press for years - it's all we use for making coffee, and it's done an outstanding job. But when we had a slight slip of the hand while washing it in the sink, we were surprised at how easily it broke - and even more surprised at how much it would cost to replace it. The majority of the price of a whole new unit seemed ridiculous for just one part of it.So we decided to give this much less expensive option a try, and over the last few weeks of owning it, we've been glad we did - it has worked perfectly. All the Bodum parts (handle with ring, lid, press mechanism) fit well and work just as they did on the old beaker. This one appears to be about the same thickness as the old one - that is, not very thick - and is very close to the same shape, with a slightly more squared-off bottom edge (compared to the Bodum's more rounded bottom edge) being the only real difference. Apart from that purely cosmetic difference, everything has worked just the same as before, and we never think about it being a different beaker - we're using it just as we always have, with no adjustments or compromises.UPDATE, 7/14/2015 - A year and a half later, this is still going strong and working great. No issues.

Perfect Bodum replacement, thicker glass
Got this to replace my Bodum beaker, whose spout lightly tapped on something ceramic while I was taking it out the dishwasher and snapped off. I had no idea they were so fragile! Hand washing only from now on - lesson learned. So I wanted to replace the beaker and not buy a whole new French press and add more garbage to a landfill. However, the markup on a Bodum beaker is astronomical and cost more than a whole new unit. Enter the Grosche beaker, which is a fraction of the price, and more in line with what you would expect a simple glass beaker to cost. This Grosche has slightly thicker glass, which has me hopeful that it will be more durable. It also came in cardboard packaging rather than plastic, which is a bonus in my book. The diameter is a tiny bit smaller than the Bodum, but it still fits in the frame with no issue.

Fits my Bodum Brazil (plastic frame) just fine! 1-24-2018
1-24-2018. Real review here. I cracked the original glass beaker to my Bodum Brazil 8 cup / 1000ml / 34oz a few weeks ago. It was from taking it all apart cleaning it then reassembling. While putting it back in the plastic handle/base, I cracked the glass. I was on the fence about this "off brand" product. I noticed some other reviewers talking about how it was not the same size, it was thin cheap glass or didn't fit back in the handle. I am here to assure everyone that it will fit just fine and seems to be a fine thickness. Full disclosure though, I didn't take a micrometer to measure precise inside or outside diameters or thickness. I don't notice any difference between this Grosche beaker and the Bodum brand. It fits just fine in the housing as well as the mesh basket with no "blow by" of coffee grounds when pressing the coffee. Some helpful advice though... The handle to the Bodum Brazil is quite robust and it was from me forcing the plastic and glass together that created a small crack in my original beaker. As of this writing the replacement Bodum glass is $25.29 USD, the Grosche is $11.99 USD. That was a price that mattered to me. (A Common Bodum... $25 for replacement glass!? crazy)When replacing my cracked beaker with the Grosche I boiled up a pot of water. I then put my Bodum Brazil plastic base in. This makes the plastic more pliable. It didn't take long, just dip the bottom and top in the boiling water just for about a minute, the replacement beaker slipped right in with minimal effort.Overall great product. Infact is it better than Bodum? Bonus points for styling because the Grosche beaker doesn't have all the warnings about how you shouldn't pour hot coffee in your lap, not for stovetop use and don't let children play with it. It is just clear, all the way around. The approximate dimensions of a Grosche replacement 34oz / 1000ml / 8 cup beaker are: 3 3/4inches wide x 7 inches tall

Good Quality "French" Coffee Press Beaker
Everything is good with this beaker. It is made in Taiwan, though it seems to say it is from Canada.. Problem: the listing or the product does not indicate the volume of the beaker. This one is one litre.
