Much better than expected. Works great!
We had a real Garden Way Cart when I was growing up back in the 80’s, which I loved!…and this isn’t that, but it’s close enough that I’m happy with it. The main difference is the thickness of the pipes. But these wheels alone are worth the price (believe me, I searched everywhere for similar wheels so I could make my own cart…when you factor in shipping, this cart is the best deal out there).People have complained in the reviews, but if you can still find it for sale here, it really does do the job, and mine has held up great after 6 months in the sun and rain with zero problems. (I know, I should shelter it when not in use, but it does indicate its durability). One tiny frustration was that it was a little hard to assemble (it seemed that the holes weren’t drilled in the right places), but luckily I didn’t tighten any of the bolts until the very end, and since there was some wiggle room everything ended up fitting perfectly.A larger frustration was with the dump gate (or whatever it’s called)…it was way too tight to slide in. So I applied some ingenuity and decided to pull off the aluminum edges (using pliers to pull, and a knife to cut through what felt like hot-melt glue), and once they came off they slid in like a dream! The gate on the old garden way cart was my favorite part of that thing, and that’s something that would be hard to beat. The sliding gate on this one is a far cry from the genius of that hinged one, but again, this still works fine (I mean after I removed those stupid siding pieces)! And my plan is to make some little improvements to this gate, to be as nice as the one I remember from my childhood. (P.S. it’s great for bringing the kids on rides!)As of this writing it’s not available on Amazon, but as soon as it is again I’m buying a second one!

Things to know before you buy?
Box cart came in is to heavy and to large for cariers as it was in bad shape and some parts damaged. Not a shipping problem as much as weight versis size of box and weight of box. Tire inside box had a half inch tear in tube and required buying a kit and patching tire. After getting all the small stuff done cart works good. Instructions are not much to follow in helping so if you are not somewhat mechanical this cart will test your assembly skills. I see lots of areas of making this a great product out of the box. Basic cart is good design. I pray this helps in your purchase decision for you.

Wow! This is one overpriced, not great, gardencart.
Where can I start? Prompt delivery, but the box was badly damaged. We opened it up and checked that we had all the parts, and then tossed the box. The printed directions to put this cart together were VERY small and confusing. But the real problem showed itself when we realized the removeable panel in the front did not fit. We measured, we checked, we measured again. Seems the right side L rail was bent 1/8 different than the left L rail. Stupid small difference, but it DID make a difference. Called the company to see if we could get a replacement rail. Nope. Asked what we should do, they told us to send it back, OK, but HOW??? This thing is big, I mean big, it was delivered in a big Amazon truck. We have a small car. several e-mails later we were offered a princely 15% refund. We will be paying for someone to fabricate a new front panel, thinner, so it will fit. We have also noticed the paint is gone from the bottom of the legs, and it has never been used. Any awful lot of money for a greatly inferior product.

disappointing
This garden card is a classic. It is a design that has been used for years. The new source does not live up to the former reputation.Holes predrilled in both the wood and the metal were inaccurate making assembly more challenging. I did it, but it took more reworking than should be needed. The design was lacking. The back panel fit so tight as to not be easy to remove to dump load. If the manufacturer had tried assembling their product this would have been obvious. Reworking the pieces to solve this was difficult. This should not have been necessary. The hardware provided was of such poor quality I could not use a power driver without stripping the heads. Now that I have solved these problems, it is a nice garden card. Sorry I cannot give it a better rating.

Good value but a pain to assemble
You get what you pay for applies here. Many of the holes were not lined up properly and took a lot of time to adjust and modify. The back panel has never aligned correctly to the steel frame. The factory was unresponsive to our inquiries for a solution. You’re on your own.
