The cups are lovely, the shape is refined and the colors are vibrant.I did four stars because I am disappointed about one thing, the space under the handle is blank and the lovely design ends with a sharp cutoff decapitating a few of the birds. My theory is that they were using an older design (maybe wallpaper or fabric) and did not modify it for the cup. I may be being too picky.

The decals which were put on the bone china were applied in a very haphazard way. I ordered them for the shape, but was disappointed in the decoration.
