Comes with an inside zip pocket and a bunch on the outside. Also came with a padded, velcro strap holder which is very nice quality. The bag itself is heavy-duty and thick but not heavy (actually very light). My husband and I have 4 kids. I only packed 5 towels but definitely could have fit 6 plus our suits and 2 HUGE water bottles. There is room for all that plus diapers and wipes. This bag is a must-have for a big family especially for a mom with multiple kids and only 2 hands. I'm so glad I got this bag!!

This bag is much bigger than I expected!! I love that it’s mesh! I can see everything that may fall to the bottom, unlike other bags when things fall to the bottom. With this bag I can see it. Also it make it super easy to fold away when not in use. I have 3 extra large beach towels (as you can see from the pictures.) I have plenty of room for more towels. Space for my books. Also there are 6 pockets that surround the bag. It even comes with a comfortable hand strap enclosure. And a concealed zip pocket inside the bag. At this price point I’m thinking of getting one for each kid so they can have their own bag to carry to the pool with their toys and snacks! We are beach and pool ready now!

This is a great beach bag. The mesh allows sand to fall right out of the bottom, which is great for a bag that carries sandy towels/toys. I could fit two large towels and a blanket in it. The side pockets are perfect for sunscreen, sunglasses, sandals, toys, etc. The only things I didn't like were: the velcro piece that fastens the handles together is not sewn on, so it can get lost if not always fastened and the bag loses support when you take out items or pack a less full bag.Pros: space/storage, mesh material, foldableCons: Velcro handle fastener isn't sewn in, could use a wire in the corners for support.

I purchased this bag for our upcoming, "going back home", beach trip. I needed something that was easy to carry and could fit all of the junk that I need for the beach. This bag seems great (I may have to update my review after I see how it does with Flagler sand--it's a little different). Some people in other reviews complained that the bag had an odor. To be fair, it did when I first took it out of the plastic bag it was in, but it was gone within a couple of minutes. Overall, it seems to be sturdy, the stitching seems to be good, and the mesh material much thicker than I thought it was going to be. It has a kind of rubbery feel to it -- not sure what the mesh is made of, but I'm sure it's probably in the item description. There's lots of outer pockets, all which seem to be stitched well, a zippered pocket on the interior of the bag as well as a loop that you could attach a carabiner clip on for your keys. I have included a pic, and I'll take you through the contents, so you get an idea of just how much room there is in it.(2) Extra Large Beach towels(2) regular sized beach towels(1) Tripod for my camera (hoping I get decent surfing pics of my husband this year)(1) 5" x 5" x 2" Speaker(1) Sand proof Beach Mat approximately 10" x 8" x 2" when folded (60" x 80" unfolded)(5) bottles and tubes of sunscreen in the outside pockets(1) silicon cup for cocktails :) approximately 7" x 3"(2) neoprene beer koozies(2) hats (sun and ball cap)(2) women's swimsuits and a coverup(1) zip bag with my extra essentials (contact lens solution, extra deodorant, chapstick)AND THERE'S STILL SOME ROOM!!I did a pretty half-assed job of packing it too, if I'd taken more time I'm sure more would fit comfortably. But honestly, it's just my husband and I, so you can automatically take out 2 of the beach towels, obviously I'd be wearing my swimsuit (2nd swimsuit left at the house), coverup and sun hat, and we only need one bottle of sunscreen with us. We'll have plenty of room for water and a couple of beers too ;) So, on to the cons, which honestly, wouldn't stop me from recommending or buying a second one of these. I wish the straps were a hair longer, just an inch or two would be perfect. The straps also come with a velcro, padded, wrap around thingie, to be a bit gentler on your hands or shoulder. If there were two separate padded areas sewn to the straps, it would just be finished a bit better, but again, not a deal breaker by any means. I did a lot of painstaking research (reading hundreds of reviews) on beach bags before I finally decided on this one. I think the price is fantastic for what you get and it seems like it's going to work perfectly for us. Unless the sand doesn't fall out they way it's supposed to, or it structurally fails, I won't bother updating the review. I think it's going to work great and I'm very pleased with my purchase so far.

Used this product at the beach this past weekend and there are some good and bad to it. The very thing that makes it awesome, is also sort of not awesome. Yes, the sand filters through and falls out if any gets in, however, if you leave (or set down) this bag on the sand, it will fill up with sand pretty quickly...coating everything else in there.... towels, etc. The concept sounds great, but... not sure if it's really better than a standard bag....

Got this tote specifically for grocery shopping, utility, and of course trips to the beach. The construction is all synthetic stretchy mesh (pockets AND main compartment) so don't EVEN risk carrying heavy objects or anything with sharp-ish corners and pointy objects! I filled this bag on my last grocery trip, and while the straps and pockets held up, the side of the mesh bag has ripped where it was pushing against a box of Kosher salt (seriously - a box of salt). It IS durable enough for day-to-day carry - just be cautious.The mesh construction allows for a ton of airflow if you have wet clothes and towels, and the mesh is absolutely useful for letting sand out for when you need to clean it (I hate when sand gets stuck to the inside of fabric bags).Really a useful utility bag with versatility.

It did hold what we needed it to hold. The straps are the perfect length and very comfortable. But they weren't deep enough, the items would fall out easily.

I just got this bag in the mail.... it seems sturdy, lightweight and durable......BUT and a HUGE but for me... it smells soooooooo bad!!!! Literally it smells almost like nail polish remover or something... I took it out of the bag and now my whole downstairs smells like this bag and I am getting a headache..... bag looks greatly made... i am hoping me leaving it sit on my porch for a few hours will rid it of that horrendous smell. If it doesnt work to rid it of the smell we wont be using it and it will have been a waste of money... either way I would highly suggest the bag be opened outdoors or in a well ventilated area.
