Australia Wildlife (Nature Observation International)

I always take these with me when I go to a new location. They give you a quick and easy way to identify new wildlife and to know what to look for. They pack easily and you can take them in your backpack where ever you go.

These are great for use when traveling. So much better then carrying around a bulky book.

I have one of these for each of the places we visit. It is a lightweight little reference to most common animals and the price is certainly right.

Being a pocket guide, information is very, very limited and pictures are very small and not as good as I hoped

A great summary pocket reference. Doesn't include everything "Australian" (e.g. not all species of snakes are listed) but it does provide a quick reference to the diversity of unique wildlife found in Australia.

This book was a gift to my daughter and son-in-law in Australia and they really love it and take it with them on all their outdoor excursions!
