The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren is one of the most hilarious, cute, funny and romantic book I have read in a while! There were times I couldn't literary stop laughing (Olivia's unlucky stories!). This was my first book from the duo, and until I read I had no idea about their writing or them as such (even the thing that Christina and Lauren are 2 and not 1 person)! So I went into the book with no expectations (except that it's a romantic, humor filled book), and it was so quirky, funny, flirty and romantic till the end. Its meet cute, enemies to lovers romance trope. It has a hilarious start and is a rollercoaster till the end. No point of dull, boring thoughts, honestly! I loved Olive, and Ethan, and Amy and everyone! The siblings love and protection is also very rightly portrayed. It's beautifully written, and crafted. A quick read and will leave you with lots of laugh at the end. A perfect vacation book or something if you're looking for in between some heavy reads! I would probably read everything by Christina Lauren now!

When I started reading this book I never thought this gonna be my favorite book for the year. Well Olivie is like cool , cute, brave and bold , unlucky (her unlucky stories are hilarious) . I can't stop laughing!! Why?? Because : 1 Diarrhea epidemic at the moment she was giving her speech .. I mean omg !! 2 The chemistry between Olivie and Elane (specifically when they called each other with wrong name)😄😄😄I mean awww.. 3 Olives' family is Soo CUTE i mean they are so funny and conversations are soo .. CUTE IN THE GROSS WAY.. 😂 4 this book also sets vacation kind of mood (well I skip my trip this vacation so it's kind helping me... ) And If you looking for fun and romance then this is a great piece.:-)

Although I have read fake marriage plot from the same authors but this was different at so many levels and I could see how they are evolving after each book. I loved the other one and I loved this one. They do not disappoint and keeps engaged and entertaining from the starting page.

This is your weekend or a summer read. Just lay back and read it coz you won't be able to put it down once it starts. Although it's a plot picked up from the common storyline of rom-com movies, good writing style is what keeps you hooked it till the end. Almost the entire plot was revealed in the Amazon introduction itself so there were no surprises throughout the book. It's like watching an Adam Sandler's rom-com movie to end a long weekend on a good note. What stood out for me was the author's good blend of family integration and values in the romantic story line. It didn't feel out of place and honestly felt quite real. Overall a decent and funny read hence 3.5/5 from me

Swoony, Sweet, Upbeat and Heartwarming. Loved it like hell and mannn what a climax!!

I am happy that I read this book.....although it's a good one about moments emotions and having some tiny details in it....it finds hard to catch the mood of reader to just sit and complete the book in one go. However it has something to make you feel your own way too and get a completely new view from the fiction characters it has to the real world people around you

Read a romcom after long and this book was perfect. It had everything you expect from a good romcom and I just could not put this one down until I was done. Sweet, comfy and heartwarming would definitely recommend!

This was my first romantic novel, and I am happy to say that this hasn’t disappointed me at all. I just loved it and this stired up many emptions. Strongly recommended

The Unhoneymooners was a really fun to read enemies to lovers romance about 2 people that, rather unwillingly, get thrown together for a holiday. Olive was my favourite character throughout this story. She's smart, funny, a terribly bad liar ( SO bad! ), and she adores her twin sister so much. It took a little bit to warm up to Ethan, but I liked him more throughout the story. Olive and Ethan really do think the worst of each other. Being thrown together gives them the opportunity to really get to know each other, and of course they have crazy chemistry together. I love all the attitude they throw at each other, their interactions were so much fun to read. This story had just the right amount of angst/drama added to it - not too much, but just enough to have me reading as quick as I could to see what the eventual outcome was going to be. Loved the epilogue, nice ending to the story.

Nice easy book to read. Takes you by the hand. You really feel for the main character is the book.

حبيت الغلاف و اهم شي الكتاب وصل بحاله ممتازه جدا و نظيف (بعض الصفحات من الداخل فيها بقع وتلوث للأسف)ء كتاب جيد ، مو افضل شي قرأته لكن راضيه بأني أرضيت فضولي حولها بما انه نبذة الكتاب جذبتني حبي للثنائي و بالذات ايثان واحد من الأسباب اللي خلتني اصبر على هذا الكتاب في بعض اجزائه البطيئه ، و ايثان على ما نرفزني في اجزاء معينه الا انه صار افضل بالنهايه و اوليڤ احب شخصيتها و تضحكني هالكتاب ضحكني كثير بشكل ما توقعته بالذات لما ايثان و اوليڤ ينادون بعض بأسامي غريبه و بدأت اتحمس للكتاب اكثر لما صرنا نعرف عن ايثان و مشاعره و كنت اتمنى نشوف الأحداث من منظوره " على انه الشابتر الأخير كان من منظوره الا انه تمنيت لو يكون فيه اكثر من كذا" و شيء غريب خطر على بالي ببدايه الكتاب و هو انه ايثان يعطي انطباع شخصيه اوسوي تاكومي و هو حب طفولتي من شخصيات الأنمي😂🤍 الحبكة كانت غير متوقعه وفعلا صدمتني و على اني كنت منجذبه اقرأ الا انه بعد هالنقطه من القصه بدأت اماطل لأنه شهر العسل انتهى و هو كان افضل شي بالكتاب بالنسبه لي لأول مره اقرأ كتاب رومانسي-كوميدي و اظن انه مو نوعي المفضل من الكتب لأنه احب يكون فيه رساله عميقه بالقصص و ما حبيت احساس الفراغ لما خلصت الكتاب و مو عارفه اش استنبطت منه ، لكن اظن اني راح اقرأ هالنوع من الكتب ما بين فترة وفترة. درجة استمتاعي بالكتاب ٨ من ١٠ أنهيت كتابي السادس عشر⭐️

The Unhoneymooners is a new favourite. The enemies to lovers trope set in a tropical locale paired with Christina Lauren’s signature humour makes this a top summer (or dreaming of summer) read. The storyline starts at the wedding of Olive’s twin sister where everyone, except Olive and the best man Ethan, are felled by a bacterial-laden seafood buffet, leaving the non-refundable Hawaiian honeymoon up for grabs. A free vacation in Maui is exactly what Olive needs, except for the fact that Ethan is coming along, and they can barely tolerate each other. A low budget flight to Maui is the start an awkward and unforgettable trip for the two, where witty banter and undeniable chemistry keeps you hooked, cheering on their transformation to lovers. While the sex is hot, it isn’t the focus. Olive & Ethan’s journey from enemies to lovers brings the realization that there may be other aspects in their lives where their perception is off, bringing forth new dilemmas and opportunities for growth. As with all their books, Christina Lauren doesn’t disappoint, building realistic characters with a romance that is sigh worthy, yet sensical. Their love of location shines through their words, describing Maui and its scenery with careful detail. The Unhoneymooners is entertaining and endearing, earning its spot as one of my top reads of 2019.
