I use headsets most of the time.I have many headsets. Everything from Skull Candy wireless to Sony folding. All are nice. However if you use them for hours these are by far the most comfortable. Not big on base but the overall full range sound is very crisp. Great for movies and music. I had these about 20 years ago and loved them. I was surprised to see them again. I'm very happy that the quality is still there with these retro reproductions. Thank you Sony!

These headphones are so light I keep forgetting I have them on when I get up my chair. I use voice typing and need a quiet room for that, so I use these while I'm working to listen to music. I also need to hear the environment around me, so this style is perfect. The sound is great, they sit very comfortably in the well of your ear rather than in the canal, so it sounds more like you have room speakers going. It feels more natural to me than something in my ear canal or covering my ears and they don't give me that stretching feeling of something stuck in my ears nor do they get hot like cupped headphones. Overall, very good purchase for me.

No stars. I bought these headphones specifically for the recent Marathon I was running on 1/16/2016.They were delivered four days before my race. I used them twice before the race and they broke at mile 17 of the race. The "plug in" part, that plugs directly into the phone, got a short in it and all I heard was garbled sounds.I bought two pair, based on the positive reviews. I haven't even opened the second pair and I'm not risking keeping them and having the same thing happen again in another few days.Also, on another note, they are very very lightweight and are extremely fragile , the cord is also obnoxiously long.I don't understand why products are made so shotty these days. I have a Sony "over the head" style pair of headphones that I have had for 19 years. They are yellow and came with my bright yellow Sony Walkman. A year ago one speaker quit working. It is been a nightmare to find good quality headphones ever since.And DO NOT get me started on ear buds. Whoever invented those must have obnoxiously large ear holes. Earbuds do not fit in my ears, or they immediately pop out. I do not know anyone who can use earbuds while running.

Broke the first time that I put them on, where the adjustable band fits into the 'slot' on the left earpiece. Without this 'slot', the entire left earpiece easily twists and falls off. Tape makes a simple fix, but it's the principle of the matter, you know? Pretty sure they were not damaged in shipping. Anyway, the sound performance is adequate, keep in mind that these headphones do not plug your ears as others do, and this is by design so that there is ample air circulation (and possibly as a safety feature, so that other sounds can be heard especially when jogging or biking). I typically check the reviews before I purchase most items, no one else seems to have the breakage issue.I originally gave the review one star, as I was pissed that they broke so quickly. My attitude quickly changed when I was refunded my money AND given replacement headphones. Wow. I must say that I have NEVER had customer service like this. I changed my review to three star simply because of this service. I will give the new set another go, to see if they survive my fat head and bear paw hands. Stay tuned....

This is the 2nd one I've purchased. For the money, the sound quality is quite good, and it stays in the ears while walking/running. I like that I can leave it in my car, and that there's no need to charge it, since it connects to my phone. Although, when purchasing a new phone, it may not have that feature, since the manufacturers seem to want everyone to buy ear buds.

I can stand being somewhat uncomfortable for good sound. These are not uncomfortable, but the sound quality is annoying. Relatively good highs and lows, but in the background is a constant hissing sound like an old record player with a bad needle. Tried them on my MP3 player (bad), iPod (not quite as bad) and phone (really bad). So ick. Will keep for travel. That way if they get damaged or lost, I wouldn't miss them.
