Expensive, but REALLY comfortable
The best feature is how comfortable these shorts are! They look great, The Camo patterns are great. the pockets are deep and have snap closures (two for each front pocket. These are Button fly. The buttons are sturdy and sewn on very well. They won't be falling off any time soon. The draw straps are a nice feature. Sizing is true. They run a little large. But that's okay, they are shorts after all...~M

Very soft and comfortable!
Great quality shorts with thick fabric and good stitching. Bought two pairs and will be buying more of this quality product.Draw strings had to be shortened, little too long. If you’re a size 26” you’ll need to go to 28” We’ll worth the buck, they’ll last for many years.

TINY on a man, but cute on a woman
Bought these for my hubby and they were absolutely TINY on him. There is no way these shorts are a true size 36. I ended up keeping them for myself and they are really cute on me. I am 145 pounds and 5'7". I wear a size 8 in women's, and these men's size 36 shorts fit me perfectly. [FYI, the seller did authorize me to return the shorts - shipping not included - but since I decided to keep them for myself, returning became a moot point.

The Best...the best.
These really are the best military shorts you can buy. This company bar none produces the best quality shorts you'll buy. Quality will last a life time but I bought two just to make sure. I bought their military army coat (Helicon Tex M65 military field jacket) and my brother in-law made me me order him one also, and I can tell you....you won't be disappointed. I recommend Military 1st. Great Quality.

they are never the same and never fit like the size chart indicates
I must have at least 10 pairs of these shorts and pants waisting away in my closet because no matter how much I've tried to upsize to make sure I get a big enough size to fit me, they are never the same and never fit like the size chart indicates. I've gotten to the point where I can't get sizes high enough now that fit me. When I did have the shorts and pants that fit, they were the most comfortable, durable and rugged pants I owned. I absolutely loved them, just wish they did a better job f being consistent with the sizes. And yes, I know there is a huge gap between UK and US sizing, but I compensated for that and order 2 sizes bigger than I should have needed and they still were small. SO definitely not because I didn't account for the sizing difference.

I am not a tall guy - 5’9’. A lot of these shorts go well below the knee and are too long. These are the right length and the fit is perfect. 5
