I am really picky about the lotions I use and how they feel putting them on. My favorite lotion has been Gold Bond Restoring or Pure Moisture and this has now taken the place of my favorite lotion. The lotion is not oily or greasy or feel low quality. It feels like it does enter your skin instead of staying on the surface. I have really dry skin on my legs and after using this for one night my skin did not need reapplication for a couple of days. There is no smell which is fine with me. I can’t speak much on the firming aspect but my skin definitely looks improved after using.

I've waited a while to write this review because at the time I began using this Advanced Clinical's lotion I had also started a new vitamin supplement. I wasn't sure which one was responsible for incredible reaction with my skin. Well, after testing by stopping both products and then restarting with just this retinol lotion, I'm happy to report it was the lotion that gave the fantastic results! Okay, now what were the results you ask? I'm a 55 year old female in good health, but the slow decline of my skin health (bumps, crepe, etc.) has been really depressing. Almost immediately, I'd say within the first 3 or 4 days, I happened to rub the back of my upper arm and found something I hadn't felt since probably my early 30's...smooth, bump-free skin!!! I was shocked and I couldn't stop touching it because it had been years since I remembered the feel of youthful skin! I'd asked my dermatologist years earlier when the bumpiness began what was it? She explained that as we age our skin loses it's ability to slough-off the old layers as it once did. I tried exfoliating regularly, but the bumps never seemed to fully smooth out, always leaving a bit of a gritty or sandy feel to my skin. I'd resigned myself that I would never again have the baby-smooth skin of my youth...until now! Smooth skin on my arms and thighs, and no more creasing and wrinkling of my decolletage, makes me feel wonderful instead of self-conscious about aging! You will be impressed!!! I use it all over, and why not when you get a huge tub of product for such a reasonable price (two 16oz tubs for $17)!!! I just finished watching the infomercial of Jane Seymour for Crepe Erase, then I went to Amazon to check it's reviews. Wow, at around $90 for 12 oz, it was too expensive and the reviews were not good. That was when I recalled that I hadn't written my review on Advanced Clinical's Retinol lotion! It is hard to find a product that lives up to the hype, but this retinol lotion is truly amazing! I had to share my experience in hopes that someone out there will also discover that there are good products that actually do what they advertise WITHOUT raiding your wallet! My only concern is that I hope they never change the formula. Too many times you get something good in it's original formula and then it changes. Please, Advanced Clinical, NEVER change your formula! They say you never miss what you had until it is gone, well, I absolutely love being able to touch skin that feels smooth and young once more...oh, how I happy I am that it wasn't gone for good!

Help with wrinkles.

I have ordered this lotion moisturizer several times. It is soaks in quickly and does not have a scent. I use it as a body and face moisturizer. My skin feels softer and is more hydrated. It is a great value for the money.

So far I like this Retinol lotion which is very nice = creamy, luxurious and a generous amount. My complaint - which others have noted as well - is that the plastic container broke during the trip to my house. The top of the “jar” is flimsy thin plastic and the pump is not cushioned. So when it bounced around in the box, the top split open. Thankfully, there is a plastic cover over the pump and jar top so no lotion was lost. I would have liked using the pump though.

This product helps with crepey skin and with sun spots! We know how long it takes us to find a truthful product and this one is it.

I like it. Not oily, doesn’t cause acne. Good for sensitive skin. I feel like it also helps with scaring as well. It tightens the skin. You gotta be consistent with it though, it takes a few weeks to notice results but once it works it works. Just as advertised and a large amount for the money.

UPDATE: After I closed the pump, I could not get it to open back up. I contacted Advanced Clinicals and they showed me a video of how to open the pump. But the pump they showed in the video is a newer different version from the one that I had on my lotion container. They ended up sending me a replacement pump. So I'm good now. I deducted one star because the Amazon experience has not been good with broken containers and poor quality pumps, but the lotion is amazing and if you ever get a good container with a pump that works you should be really happy with your purchase. PREVIOUS REVIEW: If you order this lotion, take my advice and only order it from the Amazon third party seller "MWsales". They do a terrific job of wrapping and packaging the lotion container, so it will arrive safe and sound. If you look at the pictures and reviews, you will see that 99% of the other third party sellers do a very poor job of packaging the lotion containers and they will arrive busted and cracked with lotion leaking all over the place. It actually happened to me too. Mine busted in transit and had to be returned to the shipper before it ever arrived at my place. But I saw the reviews for "MWsales" were good, so I gave them a try and they did a terrific job. I spent my entire life not using lotion at all. I eventually started using lotion on my feet, but I don't apply it that often. I have known for many years that my face could use some lotion. It's apparent in the winter time when I look in the mirror and see how dry it looks, especially if I have been blowing my nose with tissue. There have been a few times when I would apply lotion to my face and dead skin would peel off my face which I think was also an indication that the skin on my face was too dry and not properly nourished. I tried various lotions on my face and they all sucked. They would be thick and unpleasant to apply to my face. And they would clog my pores and cause pimples. This year, I got to thinking that I need a really thin lotion that is almost like water. Then it wouldn't clog my pores and it wouldn't be as unpleasant to apply to my face. After a lot of research, I saw this Advanced Clinicals lotion and it looked perfect to me. From the pictures and videos, it looked to be a thin lotion. Because I ordered the Retinal lotion, it means it has Vitamin A and is good for the skin. And there are even other ingredients like Aloe Vera, etc. that are good for the skin. I had thought about getting a tiny tube of lotion, but when I saw the Advanced Clinicals lotion container, I decided that I like it better because it is a good size, will have enough lotion to last me a long time, and at a good price. It's also easy to dispense the lotion, and I just like the overall appearance and design of the container (even though it busts and cracks easily during shipping). So I gave it a try, and the lotion has been great. I haven't had a single pore clog up. I haven't gotten a single pimple. The lotion is so fast and easy to apply. It is effortless to apply. It just glides on the skin and doesn't take long to be absorbed. It's not too thin and it's not too thick. It's just right and perfect. It leaves my skin feeling great right after I apply it. It doesn't burn like some reviewers said. Well, there is the tiniest bit burning sensation that is temporary. But it's not a big deal, only last a few seconds, and doesn't cause any redness or allergic reactions. And it cures the dryness of my skin. I highly recommend this lotion. But remember to carefully choose which third party Amazon seller you order from. I recommend "MWsales". Take the time to look at the customer pictures and reviews and you will see how there are countless customers who received this lotion container cracked and busted open. You don't want to experience that. Or have to deal with delayed or cancelled shipping, or be forced to ask for a refund or have to return items. Save yourself the time and just order from a responsible third party Amazon seller to begin with.
