Love it!
I was super excited when i got this book. It had lots of beautiful pictures and charts. My favorite ones were the peacock, the raven, the lion(all from the forest tapestry) and the african marigold rug.

Beautiful Designs - Great Addition to Needlepoint Library
This book has several patterns that I plan on attempting in the next few projects. However, when I was considering the purchase of the book, I was unable to find a complete listing of the designs included in the book (always helpful when purchasing something like this). You can find part of the list, along with correspondeing pictures of the designs at the Beth Russell Needlepoint website under "Needlepoint Books." However, in an attempt to help other Amazon-ers, here is a list of the designs:*Peacock*Raven*Lion*African Marigold*Flower Border*Honeysuckle Border*Orange Border*Bees*Arts & Crafts Alphabet*Apples*Vine*Artichoke*Fruit*Kelmscott Frame*Grape (bookmark)*Rose (bookmark)*Tulip*Acanthus & FlowerIf there was any issue I have with the book, it would be that it showcases certain projects that are not in the book (specifically, the dog from her "Forest" collection). However, this is such a minor issue, it would not detract me in the least from giving the designs it does have 5 stars.

Beth Russell
Beth Russell did an excellent job in putting together William Harris's designs. I would recommend this book to anyone who is serious about needlepoint.

Great designs
After a trip to Kelmscott Manor, I particularly enjoyed this book both for the lovely, do-able designs and instructions, and for the historical information about William Morris, his family, and the Arts and Crafts movement.

To each his own
Didn't love this book. These things are very personal, though, and just because it didn't particularly please me doesn't mean someone else wouldn't love these patterns.

Beth Russell' William Morris Needlepoint
The third of Beth Russell's needlepoint books features directions for making her Designer's Forum creations, such as pillows, chair seats, rugs and wall hangings. Her patterns are high quality, sophisticated copies of William Morris' Arts and Crafts designs which she makes easy to follow. She recommends specific, name brand materials, such as canvas and yarn and also illustrates stitch options and further directions for finishing. Her needlepoint kits are estimated to be the finest on the market today and her books offer an inexpensive way to duplicate these products for much less.

Not only very beautiful in itself, but very useful too
This is a must for anyone that likes needlepoint. Lots of beautiful designs, all the charts and wool quantities are given. The only problem is deciding which one to do first!

Very good condition. Compliments beautifully the 'Beth Russel's Traditional Needlepoint' book that I have had for years. Yes, I have made a few projects from that and am looking forward to adding to my pieces of work. Delivered quickly in good packaging. Delighted.
