Boston Proper - Beyond Travel - Women's One Button Knit Boyfriend Blazer

I love this blazer for its styling, fit, and versatility. I'm back to traveling after having been grounded by the pandemic, and I needed a new navy jacket that could be swapped among several outfits. I'm thrilled that I found this Boston Proper blazer. It doesn't have the oversized/boxy fit that I normally associate with boyfriend jackets, but it does have some details, such as a notched collar and lapels, that you might find in a men's sports coat. I find it both professional-looking and feminine.The jacket is on the heavier side, mostly because of the knit and the lining, and is best for cooler weather. Despite the "boyfriend blazer" description, the styling is feminine, with a tapered waist, single low button, and slim arms. The longer length is perfect to cover my longer shirts and backside. Even though the sleeves are tight, they move easily and without binding or pulling, primarily because of the stretchy knit. I love that it looks attractive whether buttoned or not.I normally wear a medium top/size 10 dress, and the size 10 fit me perfectly, although if I were more apple-shaped, I might find it too tight when buttoned. The jacket arrived a little wrinkled, but it doesn't wrinkle as easily when worn as I initially feared. It really does make a great travel jacket.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Honestly. I work in a casual dressed office, usually comfy slacks and a top. Today I decided to put this blazer on with a cami underneath and black slacks. It looks perfect! The fit is super comfortable. I ordered the largest size that I could because I don't like that huggy tight feeling of a blazer. This delivers. It is stretchy and the contour of the shoulders look like shoulder pads but are not. They just help your shape look crisp and neat. It is long enough and comes past my hiney (and I have a big one!) and it covers loosely in the front. Just the peak of the cami that I wore underneath shows and it looks polished and professional and I felt as such.

I got one white and one black jacket in size 14. I am a bit top heavy. 5'4" 155lbs. There wasn't much difference in measurements between 14 and 16.I took my time looking at the measurements and size charts to ensure they fit as best as I could get. They are a tad tight in the bust but if I had ordered a larger size I would have ended up with shoulders and hips too wide. I love the longer lines. I think it makes anyone look slimmer. It comes about an inch below the top of my thigh. I specifically looked for a longer jacket and this was the most flattering that I found. The material is thick and although polyester, doesn't look too cheap. I notice that a lot of reviewers had trouble with the fit. They offer several choices so if you measure yourself and follow the size charts you should be able to come close to the right fit for you. My only complaint is that there is no matching skirt so I ended up ordering the pants to have a few suits for special occasions. Or wear the jackets casually with jeans. They are heavy enough to wear except when it gets extremely hot out. I never would have imagined myself wearing a polyester suit but here I am.

I purchased this to go with the "Beyond Travel Women's Wrinkle-Resistant Straight-Leg Knit Solid Color Pant" for a business professional suit for work. The fit was perfect across the bust, but the length was extremely too long on my 5'1" frame and due to the styling, there was not a way to have it altered to fit, so I had to return it. The fabric is wonderful and comfortable, yet stylish.

If you want an ill fitting cheaply made Jacket, this is the one for you. The material is a stretchy cheap looking polyester. The lining isn't sewn in correctly so it pulls and puckers on one side.My husband ordered this for me because I wanted a yellow jacket for my birthday. I couldn't try it on right away because I was just getting over Covid and not feeling up to it. The window for return passed and when I notified the manufacturer I received no reply. This company has terrible customer service.Amazon shouldn't even carry their products. This was money that was wasted. I will never be able to wear this. It deserves 0 stars.

I have been wearing suits for 35 years and this is my favorite jacket of all time. It looks like a well made suit jacket and fits like yoga clothes. It is super stretchy and therefore, very comfortable. They are a little pricey ($98) but WORTH it. I bought it in multiple colors. i am 5'5" and 200 pounds, curvey. Typically wear a 16 or 18 and ordered the 18 at first. It fit perfect but I don't want to stay an 18 so I returned it and bought the 16, It doesn't button perfectly but I never button my jackets. If I ever lose weight, I will rebuy them in all the colors. It doesn't wrinkle and would be awesome for traveling as well. Worth every penny!

I’m 5’5” and a little overweight. I usually wear a medium or large in tops in regular sizes in brands like Talbots, J Crew, and Ann Taylor. I was surprised that the sleeves on this blazer barely reached my wrist. I ordered the size large. The fit was delightfully comfy, definitely that yoga pants type of feel. But in a light color (lilac) the material was too cheap looking, especially with the very narrow lapel. The length was just enough to cover my bum but not by a lot. I don’t carry much weight there. It’s mostly in my waist so the blazer would have been a bit too snug to close. I planned to wear it open anyway and was looking for something comfortable for getting on a plane after a long day of meetings. However, I will return it because it just looked too cheap with the fabric. Maybe in a darker color it would be less obvious. I’m an executive in a corporate job so don’t want to look cheap. I have no program wearing no-brand and random Amazon brand clothes if they are made well and look presentable.

I purchased this jacket for a trip, just to dress up jeans (day to dinner). It's adorable! The fabric is super stretchy, so it's really comfortable to layer with. It's longer in length, which I love and it has some weight to it, so it feels like really good quality. I think I need other colors! Great jacket for travel!
