Ziploc 321874 Food Storage, 2 Count (Pack of 1)

Excellent containers. Very roomy.

We bought a country property with 4 mature apple trees - way too many apples to eat or give away. I started drying them and needed a container for the dried apples. I purchased Ziplock 9-cup storage containers at Walmart and they worked perfectly - they could be stored in the garage and were safe from rodents and bugs. Ziplock changed the shape the next time I purchased some, which did create a stacking problem for unused containers, but they were more or less the same dimensions (I actually liked the new shape better because the ends were squarer).I must have accumulated 50 or more of these containers and over time they have been repurposed. They are great for sewing and fishing supplies, pens/pencils, tea bags, cookies, etc. Rather than gathering up the ones I had, I went to Walmart again and they no longer stocked these.When I started looking online, it became apparent that Ziplock has changed the shape AGAIN. I looked carefully at all the amazon ads, picked the one that had a picture of the old style and ordered 10 sets.They arrived this morning and they are the new shape; it says they are the same volume but that is not the important metric for me. They are inferior for my propose. If you look at the picture, there are 3 or each style stacked on top. Their footprint is more or less the same, but you can see the new style takes up more space. Additionally, the old style hold more dried apples than the new style due to rounded corners and sloping sides.I want the old ones! They were perfect! Right now I have about 200 pounds of apples to dry, and so I just used the news ones. But I am not a happy camper.Ziplock: Was there something wrong with the old style? Is this style more economical to produce (even though they are not cheap)? Do you just need to fix things that aren't broken? So disappointed.

I love these products they are durable I had some more years. They are a reasonable price so if you they are not returned after parties its no loss just order more. This product does stack well of the same size.

You'll end up getting the large tall rectangular container. Not the flatter regular large container that we all like. Thought they actually had some. I know they stopped making that flat large rectangular model. Oh well... New model still works. Just disappointed at the bait and switch.

These containers are great. Hold a lot. Easy to store. But, apparently there are 2 different styles. I received 2 that have bowed sides - just like the ones already in my cupboard. The Amazon pictures of the containers show ones with very straight sides. Until I scrolled through all the photos after the fact. There is a mix of both styles. And, apparently, you get whichever Amazon chooses to send. I know this sounds picky, but I had a very specific use for the straight-sided one. I kept these and will use for whatever. Not a complete loss.

Sturdy

Great size. Great for leftovers and for meal planning. They do well in the top rack of the dishwasher. Haven’t had any issues with leaks. Great value.

I just received these Ziploc large rectangles (9-cup), but they are not large rectangles. They are deep semi-rounded smaller rectangles. I went by the product description which states that they are 7.1 x 11.6 inches, and that is exactly what I wanted. The ones I received today are 7.1 x 9 inches. They are not returnable, but Amazon made it right like they always do with a discrepancy, but it was still a hassle to have to do that. I just want what I want, and I am disappointed that I did not get what I was led to believe I was buying. After reading the reviews just now (like I should have done to begin with), it looks like I will have to find another brand.
