Rhythm Tech Shaker, Red, inch (RT2030)

Sounds good, but a little heavy
This seems like a pretty durable shaker. It is pretty loud and offers a variety of different sounds due to its long length and metallic exterior. My only fault is that it is a little heavy and a little long for my taste.

Great shaker but slightly fragile
I've had a couple of these now. Great sounding shaker, especially for live applications with a full band. It's quite loud, so I wouldn't recommend it for acoustic acts. My only complaint would be that it's not indestructable. Specifically, with my first one, at a fireside jam, someone was shaking it against a metal firepit and one of the end-caps came off and the contents of the shaker went everywhere. Can't blame the shaker too much though as that's not how it was designed to be player. Nevertheless, the end caps CAN come off if played as such.

Loud Live Shaker
I have a the red one and a blue one. These are great for live shows. I don't recommend them recording as much, but they are made to cut through the noise on the stage and are loud.

Nice percussion item
Well packaged. Nice crisp penetrating sound. Good product.

Very loud, both in sound and visually
You can get multiple sounds out of this - swooshy, or sharp individual "chik" sounds.I wish it didn't draw attention to itself visually onstage. So big and colorful, and with the writing on it too. Hmm.It's a very bright sound that cuts through the band. If that's what you need, this here'll do the trick for ya.

Cuts through the mix!
I got one of these for playing out live, they're great...they sound really good, not overbearing, but cut right through the mix to be heard. Love it.
