I bought this as a gift for my niece. It is absolutely charming. It has a hauntingly beautiful tune, it rotates as it plays and there are lights that change colors. It is a very nice gift. I don't know how long it will hold up, but I assume if handles gently will last a long time.

This is just so beautiful, our daughter loved it as a special birthday gift from mom. It will require gentle handling, but is surprisingly sturdy. The horses on the edges feel a little flimsy, but it would be perfect for an older child or an adult. The music is clear and pleasant and the lights turned on. They really show off the globe. This is a calming item to place near an older child’s bed for its looks and for the peace it gives while playing. Priced very well for what it is.

The wind wasn’t center so I had to strategically place it with frosting but it still worked for the cake and I love it!!

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas and she loved it. At 2 y/o she was quickly able to learn to wind it up...she just needs help turning the lights on and off. I have a larger one I will give her when she's older but wanted one that wouldn't cause panic if she breaks it a little. The music is beautiful and the lights are pretty too.

I bought this for my 5 year old niece and she absolutely loved it. She loved watching it spin around and the song that it played. She even asked her dad to set it on her night stand so she could play it every night before she went to sleep. It is small, but perfect for a child. I'm hoping it will turn into a keepsake to be passed down to someone special in her life.

I knew it would be small after reading reviews but it’s intricate, and made of metal! The music is soft and pretty! Overall , lovely small musical and would make an attractive keepsake!

I purchased this for my 6 year old granddaughter. I have an old wind up musical carousel and she plays it all the time when visiting. She said she wanted hers to be Disney Princess. This fit the bill with what appears to be Cinderella's carriage on the outside and a castle on the inside ! She loves it. It changes colours and plays a variety of tunes. No wind up necessary. She goes to sleep listening to it and watching the pretty colours change.
