One of our brand new solid wood kitchen chairs got ding'd while I was moving it (the seat hit a corner causing a fairly visible scratch). My fault, but I was quite frustrated seeing that we had just purchased the table and chairs two weeks prior. I was skeptical of the furniture repair kit, but decided to give it a try based on the great reviews. About 10 minutes later and with a little cautious "drawing", the scratch is no longer visible and completely blended it. If I run my finger over the scratch, I can sort of feel the depression grooves. But from 3 feet away, the scratch is completely invisible; what an amazing product! The instructions say to start with a filler/marker color that is lighter than the actual furniture, and that's definitely true. Work your way up from lighter to darker as needed, and keep a wet cloth nearby in case you make a mistake. Clean-up is super easy as long as you do it immediately upon application. And the results are amazing. I'm super pleased with the quality of the finished repairs! Now I'm on the hunt for more wooden items to fix around the house!

I was very skeptical at first about this product and have been more than pleasantly surprised. Works very well and better than I expected. This is not just a marker with ink. These markers have actual finish coming out of the tip. It glides right on but does have an initial tackiness that will go away as it dries. If you get some on your hands its not a big deal. The instructions to say to use lighter colors first and graduate to darker colors so that's what I did. Things blended best using this method. I tried going directly to what I thought was a matching color and that didn't blend as well. Do follow the directions. I started with my nightstand which is a very dark brown. It was looking really chewed up having run into it a lot with my mobility devices — and the wood is blonde underneath so it looked terrible. Also, there were huge gouges and I tried a couple crayons. Definitely apply the crayon first, and the marker over that. My nightstand looks NEW. I wish I had a whole “before” photo of that one. I have only a few closeup photos. I moved onto my bathroom vanity which is more of a lighter color. This time I took before and after pics of 2 sections — and also a video of the process. It dries almost instantly, so if you want to make the ends blend, make sure to have a throwaway cloth handy. You'll need to follow right behind the marker. Most importantly is the fact that I am a person with chemical sensitivities; I'm an MCS patient. I expected the product to be TOXIC and have intolerable fumes. It does come with a non-toxic description, but a lot of vendors don't tell the truth about that. NOT THE CASE HERE. I detected NO ODOR AT ALL from the markers. The crayons smell like typical wax crayons... NO SYMPTOMS from using either the crayons or the markers. The product is less than $10. It’s totally worth trying this product if you are unsure. Also, it's fun to make things look like new again. I look around and wonder "what can I fix next with these?" Highly recommend!

The markers work well for scratched wood...definitely doesn't cover scuff marks well. The crayons do almost nothing in all honesty. But the markers do work! They dry pretty quickly and cover up scratches well. Up close it doesn't look great but from the normal standing point it looks SO much better than before. Its a lot cheaper then painting or replacing. I'm hoping it holds up to washing the cabinets and doesn't come off easily. It does seem like it will last for a while. I've included a before and after pic of the bathroom vanity. As you can see, it really did do a great job!

Has a great wood color collection. I am posting before and after photos. I should have used the colored wax for the deep scratch but I can live with it. It’s a 5 star for me. I will revisit after 4-6 weeks to let you know how it stays/keeps its color.

AMAZING! My furniture looks new without the scratches. Kit has so many options that it was easy to match my many needs around the house from flooring to nightstand to furniture to bathroom vanity. ALL of it is touched up! HIGHLY recommend this product! It’s like coloring for adults.

This kit comes with both markers and crayons and includes a sharpener for the wax crayons. These markers and crayons are perfect for covering up (not repairing, despite what the description says) scratches and dings - even quite sizeable ones. The wax is great for filling in scratches or dings; the markers work well on harder surfaces to hide scuffs and scrapes. Using them is intuitive and they are quite forgiving. If you make a mistake you scratch out the wax, or wipe of the marker (provided you do it fairly quickly) and try again. At under $10 for the set right now, these are excellent value, easy to use and truly work.

Easy to use. Works as intended. I just wish there was a marker for pine.

ma table basse en merisier venait de subir des rayures qui étaient assez voyantes; j'avais essayé de les masquer avec de la cire mais ce n'était pas concluant; sans attendre de miracle j'ai essayé ce produit, en fait de simples feutres de différentes couleurs de bois et j'ai été plutôt satisfait du résultat: bien sûr ça ne supprime pas les rayures et si on met le nez dessus on continue de les voir, mais elles ne se remarquent plus quand on passe devant le meuble par exemple. Mieux vaut essayer d'abord les feutres les plus clairs (par exemple le chêne au lieu du merisier) et passer à une couleur plus foncée éventuellement. Il faut aussi passer les feutres avec précaution en évitant au maximum de déborder sur les parties non abîmées. Concernant les bâtonnets de cire, je ne m'en suis finalement pas servi; peut-être sont-ils utiles pour masquer une fissure...

This pens have worked great. Much cheaper than box stores for a whole lot more pens. Test them out in a small inconspicuous area first to see which colour matches up the best The colours matched up for varied furniture in the home like The staircase railing, kitchen cabinets, entertainment center, dining table, living room coffee tables and so on. New lease of life to these items. After application, wait a few seconds, or blow on it before you wipe. Then it’s permanent. If accidentally applied to non-damaged area (makes that area darker than the rest) wipe immediately. The lightest coloured pen and the black coloured pen, unfortunately are no use to us because we don’t have any black furniture and the lightest pen is just too light to even work on anything in my opinion. But the rest are great.
