This product is amazing. I have a cat with bladder stones and this gets rid of the smell so no repeat spots. I've been using this for years, hard to find as times and seems the bottle has changed... but I still manage to hunt this down. It was recommended to me and I 100% recommend it for anyone else. And since it does a fantastic job on cat messes, I also use it for puppy messes.

This is the holy grail of cleanup for cat messes of any kind! Works so well, no complaints at all. Never has stained any fabrics or surfaces, and doesn't need to be rinsed out.

We own SIX cats and over the years, I've tried every product available on the shelf at our local pet store. All of them are advertised as 'urine destroyers' but none of them do - all they do is cover over the urine with strong perfumes and don't do the job of actually clearing away the urine left behind. This particular product actually neutralizes the urine, there is zero urine odor left afterward, not even a faint hint (and my nose is very sensitive at detecting it). The reason this product works and the others don't is because it contains hydrogen peroxide, and hydrogen peroxide reacts to organic bodily fluids - like urine. You can see it foam up as the spray interacts with the urine, that means it's working and the scent of this product is very pleasant, not overpowering like the strong perfumes in the other major brand names. Pro tip for cat owners: the largest Bissell size offered for cat owners on this platform is a 32oz bottle. If you happen to own a lot of cats, you'll find yourself going through that single spray bottle very quickly and at $18 a pop, it quickly becomes expensive to have to repeatedly buy the 'single serve' bottles. Do yourself a favor and buy the 64oz half gallon Bissell Pawsitively Clean urine destroyer marketed for dogs - if you read the ingredients on the product spec sheets offered on Bissell's own website, you'll see the dog and cat products are literally the same, but you get a lower price on volume by buying the half gallon size for dogs and then just refilling the 32oz spray bottle you get for cats. I’ve tried them all and this one works the best with least effort and best results. Tip: just spray and blot after it soaks in a while. No need to scrub. Repeat if necessary. Won’t leave circle marks like others do. When my cats throw up from hairballs or eating too fast, it is my lifesaver (or should I say, carpet saver)! Expensive but more than worth it!! It’s the only one I buy now.

I've had a few cats in my lifetime and have been buying carpet stain/odor remover for decades. Usually, they'd work but only work well in one area of requirement. If they got the stain out, the spray's scent would bother me, they'd be expensive, and/or it wouldn't get the odor out completely (once the spray's scent wore off). If the scent didn't bother me, the spray usually didn't work to get the stain out, and so on. This spray gets the stain out; the stain doesn't show up again later when the carpet is dry. It has a scent that doesn't make me sneeze or gag and the price is reasonable. You get an A+++ Bissell!
