Matcha Powder
I got this in a timely manner which is great.I really like the taste of this tea, but I'm not sure I'm getting the energy I'm supposed to be getting from it. If i'm getting it it's very subtle, and I am aware it's not like having a commercial type energy drink which I'm very happy for by the way. Regardless, I'm getting other benefits from this tea. This is my first time buying Matcha so I'm not sure if the color is correct. It's not dark green and it's not bright but it's light green. So, based on my liking the taste and the benefits from drinking this, and the prompt delivery, I would definitely recommend this product.Oh and since I'm not an experienced Matcha buyer I will only give it 4 stars because I'm not sure if it's Matcha or a different type of tea.

A top quality product and value.
This matcha is a superb value for a premium grade ceremonial grade [Defined as: grown in shade (artificially or naturally), hand picked, and very young leaves (first harvest, spring harvest - not second harvest, summer harvest, late harvest, mature leaves) without stating or labeling as such. I cannot imagine spending so much money per ounce for other seemingly high quality brands. I haven't tried them because I feel it's ridiculous to pay the asking price. But I did try three other inexpensive brands: Out of them, one seemed just okay, one was somewhat bad, and one made me ill.BTW, I wrote a good review after the first time we bought this item two years ago from a different seller, but I deleted it a few months ago because they started to deliver it by the pony express to our PO (what the heck, it took 3 weeks too!!!) while continuing to put up the Amazon Prime delivery logo adjacent to the item. We contacted them about the discrepancy and they said that they no longer offer Prime but didn't take the sign off. Their lack of truthfulness made us embarrassingly "lie" to our expectant guests about trying out this affordable matcha.

GREAT PRODUCT
I first bought this product on Amazon day (Amazon black friday) and I loved it!!! We are big green tea drinkers in my household but I stopped liking the taste of the dry leaves. I purchased this in hopes of a better green tea and better healing properties, man o man was I right!! Now for people who don't drink green tea normally this powder may be quite strong but you will just need to mix less for the first go round and then add more as your pallet becomes aware. Its a great tasting strong pure green tea! NOTE: If you are making your VERY first cup of Matcha tea in your life I will warn you....if you choose to go full blown experienced green tea drinker and add 2 spoons worth into a cup of hot water you may want to re think! Matcha is 100% pure meaning your body may not be prepared for such a strong hit, now you wont die or pass out but you may become sweaty and feel nauseous. Take it slow and steady, it wont cleanse you quicker because you took a crap ton in one go!....But since this powder is so fine I was able to use it in dessert dishes and smoothies. Noowww! the desserts definitely are an acquired taste (meaning they tasted horrible to me but others loved them), Ill stick to drinking this rather than eating it. PLUS: I am half Korean and half African American and we normally drink loose leaf tea but since finding this I have switched my WHOLE family over to ZEDA TEA and plus my mom felt better knowing it was from Korea which has the purest forms of everything (maybe not everything but when it comes to herbal teas they do).

but totally fine for matcha latte's
A little bit bitter, but totally fine for matcha latte's. Definitely not as good as Japanese Ceremonial matcha. All types of matcha product a significant amount of health benefits. If you can't afford Ceremonial Organic Matcha from Japan, this product is good lower cost option that will give you all of the same health benefits. The product is more bitter, but you get what you pay for. Japanese matcha is the best, but in what I have tried Korean is good, with matcha from China last. This matcha is a great addition to smoothies, protein shakes, and is excellent in anything baked. There are a ton of recipes available on the internet for green tea ice cream, green tea muffins, etc, and any of those would be excellent using this product. While not high end Ceremonial matcha, this product still gives you the satisfaction of getting an organic product at a low cost. When I bought this product, it was one of the Amazon deal of the day products, so if you watch you can probably get this at a reduced price.

Great Quality and Price.
This is the first Matcha I've ever tried at home. I've had Starbucks (sugar loaded) in a few drinks before, but never pure matcha. I've only had this for about a week or so and so far I've used it for 2 types of smoothies and in a latte. The taste can be bitter, as seems with any unsweetened teas or matchas. For my smoothies the fruit I add sweetens it naturally and for my lattes, I use unsweetened coconut milk and a small amount of honey. Really tasty and way healthier than the starbucks alternative. I plan on buying this brand again. 100% organic and a great deal. 1 pkg should yield about 80 servings. For lattes I use a full serving for smoothies a little less, so I'm expecting this to last a while. It's recommended before using it in any recipes to mix it with a bamboo wisk with a small amount of water. This allows you to avoid lumps of matcha in your final drink.Great smoothie recipe:1 banana1cup pineapple1cup kale1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon matcha powder1cup unsweetened coconut or almond milk-Use either a frozen banana, frozen pineapple or ice. Mix the matcha powder with a small amount of water then blend all ingredients. :)My Latte Recipe:1/2 teaspoon matcha powder1cup unsweetened coconut or almond milk1 teaspoon honey or preferred sweetener-Mix matcha powder with small amount of water in a bowl to make easier to mix. Heat milk of choice either in the microwave or on the stovetop til it just starts to foam. Add matcha mixture, heated milk and honey to a mug, stir and enjoy.
