Pretty Woman meets BDSM
I really liked that this story was wel written and well edited. (Poor grammar and punctuation are such a distraction.) At their first meeting, Bashir offers her $50k to spend the weekend with him as his submissive. Instead of a weekend of kink, he spends most of the weekend figuring out what makes her tick. There was depth and emotion and self discovery in this story.A very enjoyable sexy read.

The Male Lead "Plays Hard to Get" =)
I received this book free on Amazon and since I read just about any Romance, I decided to check out this book and the author.I'm glad that I did because I was pleasantly surprised with this book. There were a couple of scenes or situations that made me a bit uncomfortable but overallthis story was a very Good Read. The characters were well developed and I liked the dual main leads Point of View.Bashir was a Dom but he was respectful of Stella, plus you don't find too many bookswhere the male lead "Plays Hard to Get" =)I noticed a few reviews of people not liking that the Dom in this book because he didn't consult or discuss things with his submissive first,Well, I've read a few BDMS books, and I don't remember where any of the Doms askedpermission before doing anything to their Submissive.Stella signed a contract stating that she would do anything that Bashir wanted for the entireHoliday weekend, so that's exactly what he did. He did not do anything degrading nor did he pass her around to his friends like some of the "sold" books.Plus, the good thing about dual POV, is that the Reader knew what Stella andBashir both were thinking during the entire book which really helped in certain scenes. In addition to Stella not objecting to whatever Bashir did to her,she stated several times that she was enjoying herself and she never used her safe word. The reader was told several times that Stella did in fact have a Safe Word and could haveused it at any time:- Lola:“ It’s fifty thousand dollars for the holiday weekend, Stella.Standard safeword arrangement, terminating the contract at a prorated rate.It will change your life,” Lola said, and her face softened."- Bashir: He reminded Stella of her safeword more than anyone, including Stella.“You did read the contract you just signed, didn't you, Ms. Spencer?”“It says that I own you, Ms. Spencer.”“It says that you are mine, to do with as I please.”“You have your safeword."You do not speak unless I permit it, or to use your safeword.”“You will have a special safeword for tonight, for this event. ‘Rococo.’”- Stella:"She'd never felt so weak. I have my safeword. I can always say the safeword.""And the plain fact was, she had her safeword. So why didn’t she want to use it?"Overall, a milder version of the Dom / Sub relationships and I rather enjoyed this one because of it.Isabelle Gordon is a really well with the narration.

Hmmm....Bashir and Stella
I really liked this one.Starts out that Stella has been cooped up in her house after her divorce not understanding why it ended and basically got the shaft. Her high school friend gets her a job at Club Volare. Club Volare is an BDSM club for the really rich. This was working out pretty well when she is called into the "Pearl Room" and she meets the Sheikh. Bashir wanted her above all others that he pays double to keep her for the weekend. He is wanting a true submissive and believes that she can be this for him. He trusts no one and he doesn't want any attachments. He was hurt in the past and doesn't trust anyone but himself. Unbeknownst to him, he has met his match... :) She is the genuine article. This was a good read, pretty fast. I wasn't able to put this down. Im used to reading a lot of book, different types and this was the first time that I actually read one that went a little beyond my expertise. Not in a bad way, In a good way. It was done right to where some people might be offended and would basically stop reading it. IF they get to that point, don't stop. You are missing out. There isn't anything that I can mention that I didn't like. I did wish there was more one on one story with Stella and Bashir. You learn a little bit about each other and you find out what really happened with Stella divorce and why Bashir was hurt. I just felt if there was more dialect between them then we would have found out more, or after a weekend why they love each other.Cant wait to read what is next.

Sensational!!!
I bought this book many years ago and very recently reread it. It's a perfect combination of kink, human weaknesses, bone deep hurt and yes...romance. The story is amazing because of its simplicity. It's beautifully written and put together. This is an easy and speedy read. Thoroughly enjoyed burying myself in this story once more.

Great read from Chloe Cox
I loved this book. It was the first of the series of Club Voltare.I have read so many books of this genre and have found that this author really wants to tell a story rather than just fill a book with non stop sex! Although there is plenty of hot and steamy!!I love the fact that you get a proper length book to read, although it could never be long enough! That is how good I find these books. On a personal note, I take heavy duty painkillers and usually clock watch until I can take the next lot! I have been so wrapped up in this author's books that I forget the world for a while and escape reality!! This book was a very good painkiller! This story was very well written and the story line flowed throughout. I didn't skip pages as I have on other books. The characters are a delight and the chemistry between them was very hot!If you are reading the Voltare series it is best to read in sequence as you get to meet the characters that will make up the next book. I love the fact you can become attracted to the next couple of characters that will have their own stories. You can tell that this author likes her characters and it almost seems like they are friends. If you want hard-core pain and humiliation then this isn't the book for you. If you want to lose yourself in a good story, hot and steamy sex and domination then this is the book for you. There is enough spice to appeal to kinks and enough romance to appeal to the more conservative readers.Well done Chloe.

ESCAPE FROM REALITY
If your looking for an escape from reality for a few hours, this story might be just right for you. Sheikh Bashir a member of Club Volare, pays for Stella Spencer, to be with him for the weekend. This story starts out quite exciting, I thought this was going to be a really great read, Unfortunately certain aspects of this story stopped me from giving this a higher rating. For a start there was an awful lot of self introspection by the characters. This tended to have me wanting to skip pages. The chemistry between the H/h didn't quite do it for me either. Both Bashir and Stella have been betrayed in the past. I thought it was then a little one sided that only Stella's integrity and honesty were put to the test, via a number of BDSM scenes, which did seem a bit inappropriate.Overall this was quite well written, it just needed a bit more depth to the two leads relationship. Some of the scenes that occurred were I found a bit unsettling.

OMG so freaking awesome
When I saw the title I thought stereotypical Arab buying a white female for his pleasure blah blah but actually after reading this it shows a humanity to bashir and shows him to be human and kind so you forget his sheikness and believe in him the man, who is kind and thoughtful who brings out the sub in Stella the confident and sexual lady that has been scarred and frightened. The tension between the two is slowly ratcheted up so you feel every nuance of their exploration and climax. OMG so hot. Loved the writing style and intriguing characters.

SOLD TO THE SHEIKH
You can't help but invest in this story. I adored the complexities of Sheik and Stella, the dynamics of rich dominant buying a sub who didn't know she was a sub. All She thought was she was broken. The chemistry is intense, the tension radiates from the rawness of the build-up as the story progresses. What a superb twist at the end, wow, so didn't expect it & my heart ached for hers. The sex scenes were sexy, although I thought .more could have been made of their union. Great book.
