Golden Threads Quilting Paper

The best for machine quilting intricate patterns - I use archival ink to draw patterns and it doesn't bleed through, plus the paper pulls away much easier than other paper. You can also draw one pattern set, then stack paper and perforate all layers by sewing the design with a large unthreaded needle. Note that this works much better if your fabric is medium to dark. I have found that the perforations do not show up well on white or light colored fabric, and in that case I need to draw each one. This product would probably also be great for paper piecing, but I have no direct experience with that.

Was a gift....my friend loved it! She sells quilts etc and says her patterns come out perfect..and she can custom design her quilts ...

I followed instructions. I tried using pounce powder with it and it worked, but I wanted a clearer line. So I pinned it to a block and quilted the block over the paper. It tore off when I was done but left dandruff pieces in the seam that I had to use a toothbrush and tweezers to work out. I don’t know that I would use it for that again.

This paper is nice for quilting if you don't mind spending a LOT of time tearing off bits and pieces of the paper. I don't have that kind of time to spend doing that. I'll try using it for paper piecing.

I received the quilting paper within the expected window of time, and was delighted to get it. I especially appreciated the clearly visible instructions, followed them easily, and finished my project in a minimal amount of time. I would recommend it to quilters, and I'm sure there are numerous other applications I haven't thought of yet.

The paper was very easy to use on my quilt. I will be getting more once I have used this up.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do! Easy to tear away without ruining any stitching.
