The Devil's Angels MC Book 1 - Gunner Kindle Edition

From what I can tell, this is the author's first book. I will read the others in the series. It had all the factors, for me to give it a five star. It was lol funny, many times over. Great story and characters. I thought I was going to be disappointed that I was not going to see how Ava did her wedding but it was touched in epilogue. I felt like a knew everyone in the club. Keep up the good work Lola.

Ive had this book in my library for awhile now and now I'm kicking myself in the @ss. I ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK! The Author has a really easy writing style I enjoyed so much from start to finish I was consumed, I couldn't put it down. This book hit everything for me. The excitement, the mystery, the suspense, passion, tears and laughter and surprises around every corner. I cried hard and at times I was laughing so hard I literally peed in my pants alittle. Lol! I'm not kidding! The Devil's Angels MC men are all Big Bad@ss Dirty Talkin Bad Boys and sexy as sin but they all have total respect for women. Gunner is the President and he is a smokin hot gorgeous mountain of a man that has women wanting to climb him like a tree, a self proclaimed bachelor. Ava is a great heroine. She's tough but vulnerable and has been through hell and made it to the other side. She has made a wonderful life for herself. Having been in orphanages and foster care her whole life no family what so ever. When her past gets revealed It was so heartbreaking I couldn't help but cry. She owns a bakery and since she has no family she adopts and rescues unwanted animals. She has a huge Dog named Lokie who she has trained to chew someone apart on command, she has Gee the little piglet who loves to be dressed up and rides a skateboard, his real name is Magnum P.I.G. but she calls him Gee for short. She has a huge grumpy growly cat Duffy that doesn't do much but sleep. Now last but not least is her talkin Macaw parrot named Mac and he is so smart he's like an actual kid. The Author writes his characters perfectly I LOVE THIS BIRD!!! The things he says had me LMAO! i did actually pee my pants alittle. 😂 The things that come out of his mouth are so hilarious! The first time Ava meets Gunner it's like turn off the oven baby this turkey is done! As they get more involved the chemistry between them starts growing and before you know it the building could be on fire and you wouldn't even know it they're so HOT! Ava's baking skills has the entire MC wrapped around her little finger. They absolutely love her and the closer she and Gunner get they love her even more. Petey is the old VP. He was VP back when Gunner's father was president. He has an accident and breaks his leg and he happens to be Ava's neighbor so Gunner asks her to keep an eye on him and maybe check in on him from time to time. They love each other instantly. Like father and daughter. She's a breath of fresh air to everyone. And they love her cooking and she loves having a family to cook for. At times the suspense gets pretty intense and when Ava kicks one of the club girls @ss I almost jumped out of my chair and yell YEAH! I loved it! I never wanted this book to end and the ending couldn't have been more perfect. I loved every minute of it. I hope we get more of them in the other books in the series. I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO EVERYONE!

Definitely unlike any MC book I have come across, but in a good way! There was a ton of humor in this that fit well with the MC world that Lola Wright built for this series. I immediately fell in love with Ava. Such a strong badass FMC who had a rough backstory. Lola Wright wrote Ava SO well! It’s not easy writing a character who has experienced trauma, a terrible backstory, becoming successful, and humorous without there being gaps but Lola did it! And Mac? He stole the show, I absolutely loved him (Loki too!). Such an eccentric twist but it worked.There were times where I found myself getting irritated with Gunner but then Ava dished it right back to him and she never allowed herself to accept mistreatment. Gunners character development felt so real and believable.Overall I thought this book was really enjoyable. It had good spice, a good plot, great character development, everything was answered, side characters were great, and lots of humor. The epilogue gave a nice wrap-up to Ava and Gunners story. And I can’t wait to start on book 2.

This was such a great book I instantly fell in love with all the characters, camaraderie, and found family in this book. It was a great read!

I love me some Loki, Mac and Gee! This is the first story in a series. It does contain darker themes, which fits perfectly within the MC genre.It has been a while, or at least it seems like it has been a very, very long time since I have read a story that immersed me into it and transported me to their world. I can’t wait to start the next story in the series.I so appreciate that this was written with a sense of humor! I laughed and could just picture Mac arguing with everyone and Gee getting dressed for bed or riding his skateboard around the clubhouse! Lola Wright takes the time to build the story universe for the reader scene by scene. She didn’t rush it and I have been searching for this way too long! The characters are excellent and now they feel like friends.The only thing that didn’t fit was the time frame for Ava to have recovered, accomplished all of the training, as well as the opening of her bakery, etc. She would have to be Wonder Woman to do everything listed in less than 4 years. Even though something like this bugs me, it wasn’t near enough to take away from the story that is Gunner and Ava.There are a few grammatical issues and themes that may be difficult for sensitive readers. I don’t normally read books over 300 pages because I’m impatient to get to the end! I didn’t want this book to end. Characters were amazing and funny! Great read! I’m going on to read the next in the series

great start to the series. Laugh out loud funny! Wonderful characters, great interaction between all characters. steamy sex scenes up the wow factor. Loved everything about this book!!

This book was simply amazing! It took you through every emotion possible and you couldn't help but fall deeply in love with the characters of this story. There are some series laugh out loud moments as well throughout the book that certainly help off set some of the darker moments throughout. This book is wonderfully written and flows perfectly, nothing in the story is left unanswered and justice is perfectly served. You end the book with a huge smile throughly excited to read book two.

I've read this book (and the whole series) a few times already, and if one book makes you go want back to the story again and again is a good sign! This has romance, good comedy and action all in one. Even though Ava and Axel are my favourite, every story makes me fall in love with new characters.Can't wait for her 6th book.
