Update: These are actually a very good lights, spring came and they are charging great and look fantastic! It must've been dull winter days that just don't do them justice, so I'll be packing mine away for those months.Original review: These lights looked very nice and bright but only lasted about 2 weeks. Then they stopped charging. I put them in the sunniest spots in the garden but still nothing. I have lots of other lights and they are all charging up and glowing at night but these are unfortunately dead.I was going to return this but missed the return window, which is my own fault so if you decide to buy these, watch them very carefully and if they stop charging send them back straight away, don't wait for brighter weather like me.Very expensive light for 2 weeks of use...

Really nice lights, not very bright, so you can't use them to light your way, but they're really pretty. First night after charging they didnt work, so I moved them to a full sun location the next day, and once they'd had that one full charge they now work fine in their part shaded location every night without having to move them.

I used these lamps to highlight features on my patio. I had a concern about the ones supplied but the supplier - FLOwood dealt with it swiftly and very professionally. I was very impressed. As to the lamps, you just switch them on and place them or hang them up. As dusk falls, they come on by themselves and provide a mellow yellow flow, rather like a tallow candle effect. They are quite calming and charming. They are not bright, but I do not want bright, so they suit me. I now have four of them.

A nice light but on the expensive side, you can find the same a lot cheaper.Probably would have given a five star but certainly not worth the money especially if you need a few.I put a value of £20 not £40 a pair.

I bought 2 of these solar lamps last month. They look lovely when working but unfortunately 1 has packed up already. The month return date has expired so can't return. If the supplier reads this, any possibility of a replacement please? K Biginton Da1 5dh.

Very attractive to look at with a realistic flame effect. They recharge well during the day giving a good light come dusk. The lanterns come with a clip as well which can be detached if not needed. This means they can either be hung with the ring on shepherds crooks or brackets, or can be clipped to branches. Very good quality product. I shall be ordering another two.

Very, very disappointing. I'm always drawn to the negative reviews but decided that these were too few to worry about. I was wrong. The lanterns worked really well on the first night. The flame effect is quite effective, especially at a small distance. However, they failed to come on at all on the second night. Given that it was winter I wasn't too concerned but after charging under a light for 8 hours they still only worked for a few minutes. I Had another attempt at charging under a light (about 25cm under a fluorescent light) for 24 hours this time and they still only worked for a few minutes. I returned them and received a prompt refund.

The media could not be loaded.  I am amazed by how bright and effective these are, they illuminate well as soon as it gets dark at night even after a cloudy dull day of charging. They have a nice Moroccan style cover and overall look really nice. From a distance they actually look like real flames inside.
