Tasty recipes for everyone
I am not a vegan, but a vegetarian. But this book is for everyone, ranging from people that want to eat less meat to veganists. The recipes are useful, even if you are not an experienced cook. The ingredients are, at least in The Netherlands easy to buy, online, or in the supermarkets. Sometimes the recipes contain some little errors, but nothing to worry about (an ingredient that is listed and not used or vice versa). The food is great and very tasty! Tip: before you start cooking, read it carefully, not only because of the ingredients but also because some recipes take more time than you maybe expect.

Slightly off put by the cover photo, however, the reviews were good so I bought it nonetheless. Still getting to know the book but have tried out a couple of recipes and they were excellent. Matt offers plenty of helpful advice which I found useful. This is not my first delve into vegan cookery but it is helpful to have a range of alternative and slightly unusual takes on certain recipes and this cook book provides plenty.

Kitabın kendisi güzel görünüyor, yani resimleri ve tarifleri çok güzel. Kitabın durumu ise üzücü. Başkasına hediye olacak alsaydım çok pişman olurdum bu satıcıdan aldığımda. 17-46 sayfalar arasındaki kağıdın üst kenarında 4-5 cm dikey yırtık ve 107-110 sayfalarının kağıtlarındaki sağ kenarında 45 derece açıyla 2-3 cmlik yırtıklar var. Bu kadar sayfa nasıl yırtılır ve nasıl gönderilmeden fark edilmez bilmiyorum. Dediğim gibi bir başkasına hediye olarak almış olsaydım rezalet bir durumda aldığımı yazardım. Oğlum epey üzüldü ama ona hatırlattım ki bunlar yemek kitapları ve ıslanır lekelenir ve kullanıldıkça zaten orijinal halinden çok başka şekillere girer. Ama sıfır yani yepyeni (yeni kokusu bile var kitapta) bir kitapta böyle yırtıklar gereksiz. Başka müştericiye aynı bu şekilde yırtık kitap gönderilirse bu satıcıdan almayın derim.

When a family member decided to go Vegan after being vegetarian it was a case of oh no what /how do i prepare, what must i leave out , will it be bland ..etc etc and decided i must buy a book to understand what its all about. and learn aout the alternatives. This is a great introduction to Veganism, photos tempt the eye, recipes easy to follow and ingredients easy to obtain. ...For a home cook with the usual store cupboard of herbs and spices...no problem. Recipes taste really good for all the family including the would be meat eaters Even if you are not a vegan

Excelente libro de recetas veganas. La caja llego en buenas condiciones pero el livro llego completamente danado. Lo devolvi, remplazo por uno nuevo.

I bought this book on a whim as my partner is a big fan of 'Dirty Sanchez' and I found it amusing that one of them had written a cookbook. I left it on the shelf for a few weeks, using other tried and true vegan cookbooks that I have until I decided to try these recipes for a change. I wasn't disappointed. Cooking vegan for the last 20 years, I've seen many chefs come and go, and 'the new style' of vegan cooking that 'proves vegans don't eat rabbit food', and have been disappointed many times. Not with this. Matthew Pritchard clearly knows food and loves food. My partner can be quite picky with what he eats and usually lots of veg is a no, but he's eaten everything I've made from this. I even bought the second book. Our personal favourites are the donner kebabs, goulash and paella. The pictures are a joy to look at and reading the intros was fun (couldn't read them without Pritchard's voice in my head). I have recommended this book to anyone who'll listen, especially if they love food. I can't wait until he does another instalment.
