SO USEFUL as a first aid and comfort travel bag for families!
I purchased this as a first aid and comfort bag for our family's three-week world vacation last summer! I wanted it to be RED and compact, but big enough for all the comfort items and first aid items we might need while traveling around the world in countries where we might not know how to get what we needed quickly. We traveled with a single carry-on bag each, so space was a BIG consideration. Each of us brought our own items plus one family item. This was the family item I brought in my suitcase. I had this packed full of bandages, Emergen-C, magnesium citrate, activated charcoal, vet tape, Aleve, burn cream, healing salve, gauze, tape, benadryl, herbal remedies, etc. I put this in the kitchen of each apartment or on a desk in the hotels, so everyone could access it whenever needed. Originally, my family scoffed at the idea of this. Why can't we just bring our own personal supply? Too much space and overlap of items was my answer. They also didn't take my warning of space seriously until we did a dry run. One of our flights was very strict about what we could bring, so it wasn't just me. After the dry run, and once we were on the journey, all criticism turned to praise. This bag got a LOT of use throughout the trip!Using it just that once would be worth it to me! However, it is well-made and has been used several times since then for road trips, camping trips, and is about to be used for three more plane trips. I bought it specifically because it was red and had several compartments. It was nice to have the option to hang it, but we never did hang it up. The hook is too small for hanging, in my opinion, and it is a plastic hanger. It'll snap with enough pressure. We just laid it out open on kitchen counters or on desks. It is easy to see in the mesh sections and the deep pouches hold items well. The one zippered section behind the pouches is not easy to remember is there, so I purposely put the back-stock of first aid supplies in there. Worst case, we'd forget the back stock was there and we'd buy new bandages, gauze, tape, etc wherever we were. All consumable easy-to-find items by sight (no reading in other languages required). Thankfully, we didn't need more than a bandaid or two on the first aid side of things! We did use nearly everything in the "comfort" category and I refilled it when we returned home. I keep a Note on my phone for the contents and check it before each trip now. I really love this bag!

Happy with the bag
Ok, so I got this yesterday and the first thing I noticed was that the net was slightly broken, took 2 stars out because :1. It was broken.2. I bought a brand new item, as such I would hope to NOT have to fix it the moment I open my package.I was able to fix it in under 20 minutes, it was a small annoyance BUT for $5.00 I'm not gonna complain too much.On to the actual review.I was worried about this bag being way too small, it isn't. It's small enough that I can place it in my hand bag, book bag or duffle bag side pocket. I plan on using it regularly, for stays with family, hotel/motels, hospitals etc.So far the size has been no issue for my needs.I've placed in it.1. A small tube of toothpaste (fits a regular sized tube too)2. A toothbrush.3. ChapStick.4. A regular sized soap in a bag.5. A hairnet.6. A regular sized (2.3 oz.) Deodorant.7. Two small hair comb's.8. A 3 oz. Bottle of hair gel.9. A 8 oz. Victoria secret lotion bottle.10. A 3 oz bottle of sunscreen.11. Box of condoms .12. Baby wipes.13. Shower cap. There is still plenty of space to put in a few more products in small 3-4 oz. travel bottles like shampoo, conditioner lotions perfume etc. I just haven't gotten around to buy those small travel bottles and placing them in the bag.Its all about how you place the items and the sizes. I've been able to place a few regular sized items in it but if you're looking for something to place a lot of full sized items in I would recommend getting something bigger. I think it's perfect if you're looking for something to fit mostly travel sized items and some regular sized items for everyday or regular use. There is the top zipper pocket for the toothbrush/toothpaste etc.The two smaller compartment pockets under it.On the inside there's 4 compartments to place a few items , then a lot of room to freely place whatever else you want to in the center. A pocket with a zipper on the inside of the bag and a pocket without a zipper on the outside on the back of the bag.Like I said I'm happy with this purchase and the bag fits my needs perfectly, being small enough to place in different types of bags yet big enough to fit all the items I think are necessary for me.

No Attention to Detail
This bag lacks attention to detail.See images:1. Loose thread ends everywhere. Bad stitch job in certain areas.2. The hanging hook at the top is not centered to the bag. The hook is actually offset to one side by about half an inch.3. The Velcro along the bottom is not aligned to one another. The one on the right is higher up.It was not that pricey so this is not unexpected. I'll have to load it up and check balance to see if it warrants a return.

Good for commuting
Although on the small side —you should now this when you look at its dimensions— this is precisely the advantage. I use it to carry toiletries on my bicycle commuting and shower at the office. It's the right size for carrrying all the essentials in my backpack (a Thule I fully recommend), leaving enough room for my laptop and clothes. Its also good to hang outside the shower and have easy access to your stuff. I substract one star because the hook is a bit small.

Gave as a gift
They loved it, I added a lot of makeup palettes and accessories before I wrapped it and they all fit perfectly. For the price it's a great deal. I think I'll get one for myself.

travel bag
We used these hanging in the window for our last car trip. They were as big as I pictured (even with the measurements). There were plenty of zippered pockets to hide goodies. We hung them from the dry cleaner hook in the car. They held up for the trip, but I'm not sure they would hold up to major wear and tear.

Toxic Smell
This product has a toxic smell. I tried washing it to see if it would help and it didn’t. It’s the right size, shape, and exactly what I wanted except for the horrific smell. I’m not sure what to do to remedy it.
