Not an essential thing
Simply because I was too scared to make my baby wear them, the intention was to keep the tiny soft knees safe from getting hurt, my baby never crawled n post sitting straightway stood n started walking, so didn't get to really use them much...but with just 2-3 uses I realized that these could be done away with rather than making the baby wear these right knee protector...but my baby skipped a milestone n moved to the other one fast, may be if it was used frequently would be comfortable but, inwouldnt have anyway let my baby wear them.
