1/48 Snap, P-51B Tuskegee Airmen

My son starting doing snap together model kits at the age of 6 with some simple 1/32 scale cars. He has moved up to the more advanced Pegasus WW2 airplane models and they are a fantastic quality. When completed and painted, they look as good as any 1/48 scale glue kit but can be assembled by a child. Outstanding value.

Great kit for the price. It is a snap together kit, but I would recommend glue still. You can get aftermarket decals if you do not want to use the kit decals.

Nice, straight forward kit. 1-2 pieces a little too tight but easily overcome with a few touches of sandpaper. Comes with pieces for both hear down and gear up display. Very good kit for early modelers.

I ordered this model through Amazon because even with the added cost of shipping, it was still a better deal than ordering it from most of the hobby stores.The delivery was quick as expected and the kit was complete as expected. However, I may never fully assemble this kit as I only ordered it as a guide for a much larger flying RC scale model I'm building. It is adequate for general shape and most panel lines but doesn't have all the details needed for a much larger scale flying model. Perhaps I'll give it to my grandson to assemble when I'm done.
