and held the corrugated plastic signs well, even in the medium (6-8 mph) wind without blowing over. Liked the taller stakes, too, as the signs were much more visible.

I couldn't find the taller stakes in the store, these are great and sturdy

If you have hard ground, these WILL bend when you try to put them in the ground. We have 4" of topsoil before you hit caliche and gravel. We ended up taking the ones we didnt bend on day one of using, set them in a wheeled tote of concrete, and wheel our signs out when we need them. Was defeating to the purpose of sale signs that didnt take a whole lot of storage space. They also need to be "pushed" further in the ground than you think so the wind doesn't bend them over.

I used these for garage sale signs, in very hard ground. They worked well the first time, but very difficult to shape out and use for the second time.

They do the job

I am not at all happy with these stakes. They are quite flimsy and I broke 3 of them the very first time I used them just trying to push them into the ground. I would not recommend these at all.
