UMI 800W Step Down Converter 220V to 110V Voltage Transformer for US Appliances used in India

A neat well put together device that has worked flawlessly for about a month now. I’m using it to power a sophisticated audio Power Amp for my audio system. Amp was bought second hand in Canada. The digital voltage display is very reassuring. The best part is that i ordered a 750Watt device but they sent me a 1000Watt one, i presume so as not to delay the delivey.

It’s sturdy well built and have low noise. The only downside for me for my personal use is that it has a power switch and every time there is a power outage it shuts off and won’t turn on, on its own. The device I have plugged in to the transformer has a standby battery and it gets drained while it waits for someone to turn on the transformer back on

The convertor is sleek, well-designed and looks good by itself lying next to my milk frother and coffee machine. It's lightweight due to plastic body, but sturdy in construction. Only the price is a bit high - but then the equipment it is being used for is also expensive.

Happy with the way it is performing, very sturdy, noise is low, doesn't heat up. Bit on the expensive side, but worth it. Overall happy with the performance.

I purchased this few months ago for my 55 inch Samsung 4K TV bought from US and Soundbar and this is serving its purpose.... No issues so far. Also it has an electronic display of output voltage which is a cool feature. No noise, vibrations can be heard while we using it.
