Leather Briefcase Office Bag for Men Padded Laptop Sleeve by Aaron Leather Goods 16Inch

This laptop bag was purchased with he express intention of using it as an executive laptop bag. It was a gift. Subsequently, it was discovered that it cannot fit a 15.6 inch laptop. If it coule be shipped back affordably it would. Amazon will not issue a refund without return. As either another laptop bag will have to be purchased. Four stars are knocked off because of this . For any laptops 15 inches and not ultra thins it will be difficult to use this bag as a laptop bag. It is my suggestion that it be used for smaller laptops under 15 inches and thinner laptops. It is also suggested that the purchaser install their own padding. Two stars are given because it is a beautiful bag. It has not been tested for durability and if the fittings hold. Will update

I purchased this bag because it was advertised as 16" wide and after returning different bag advertised as 15.5" wide. This to fit a laptop that is exactly 15" wide. That laptop still stretches the sides of this bag. However, the build quality does appear sufficient that the leather will stretch slightly rather than rip. In the photos, you can see the side of the bag where the laptop is pushing out from bottom to top along the back of the bag, so the 16" advertised with must include the seams which are unusable. Additionally, the first bag I received had a tear in the leather, but the Aaron Leather was extremely accommodating and resolved the issue as quickly and efficiently as could be expected. All in all, this is a good product that I expect to last for years. For laptops just a bit wider than 15" though, it may not work.

I used my last leather messenger bag for several years and it was starting to look a bit worn so I went looking on Amazon for something new. I was torn between a few messenger bags of similar style but decided on this one due to it's appearance of higher quality. I have not been disappointed. I love this bag. I have been using it for several months now and it is fantastic. I have received many compliments on it. It is designed with a more "raw" leather finish. It does get a scratch here and there, but those tend to give it a more antique look. The bag has character. The leather is thick and I'm sure will last for many years, if not a lifetime. The inside is fully lined and has many zipper sections. The stitching in white gives a nice contrast and is well done. The push in clasps are a great way to allow fast access while still having the functional buckles for looks and adjustment. The handle feels solid and the rivet and stitching of the pieces that secure it will surely last a very long time. The strap has heavy clips at the ends so it can be easily removed. It's made from a thick nylon strap with a full leather strap accent. I'm super happy with this bag and highly recommend it.

Good looking brief case. Being a short gal I had to shorten the strap came with it so I can carry it over my shoulder like a tote. Get compliments often. Roomy enough for a 14 inch laptop, electrical cord, mouse, a large wallet, sunglasses and couple of thin file folders. Too much stuff it is hard to close the latches. It is heavy without anything in it so when it is fully loaded, it gets really clunky. But small price to pay for a non-fabric briefcase. I like the most is that it stands up firmly even when fully loaded:) Just had it for a few months, time will tell how long it will last but so far it seems to be holding up.

Honestly I am a briefcase snob. In learned along time ago that if you spend good money on this Particular product it will last a very very long time. I have had a Coach bag that lasted 14 years and massive travel. I took a chance on this as I had a Korchmar bag that did not do what was expected. The reviews were good on this and almost too good but I gave it a shot. This this is SOLID. Very sturdy and looks much nicer that expected. Only had it a few days so cannot comment on how it will hold up but initial impression is very good. Hardware is very solid, handle is strong, and leather is quite thick. Bag is heavy which I hope translates into durability over the weeks and months ahead !

I bought this bag in summer for my son who is now studying at Law school so he needs a professional looking briefcase. I saw this item on sales from Amazon so I take a chance to buy it. I was skeptical at first but when I got it, It was way over my expectation. It is a high quality bag with nice stitching, nice leather, good size compartment, ... my son use this for a few months now it has no issue. I highly recommend this bag to anyone even if you pay full price.

I purchased this at $80 and it was a hell of a lot better than expected. Thick, great looking leather (smelled good), heavy duty stitching, seemingly high quality hardware. Honestly, this thing is amazing...for someone that wants a messenger bag.Unfortunately, I'm now looking for a Jack of All Trades (perhaps Master of None) after I realize this won't work for my needs. I wish it did because it's easily the best of the sub-$100 leather bags I found. I need something that can convert to backpack and hold a lot more than messenger bags usually do.

UPDATE (May 28).The seller is very responsive and responsible. After my review here I was contacted by the seller right away being provided with immediate support and feedback. Today I have received the replacement and this new bag is great (without any creases, etc.). For that reason I am updating my first initial rating up to 5 stars. Thank you for understanding. Peace.First initial review:The bag could have been more than impressive. Nevertheless, right out of the box it was with one side quite significantly wrinkled and creased (see the photos). Photos were taken after I even tried to flatten the creased corner. Initially it was even more creased with the wrinkled corner standing up against the surface of the bag. Most probably the briefcase was not packed properly and was creased during the packing process because it was already like that when I opened the box, which itself was not damaged.
