Great to find a close that doesn’t split and get stuck in your teeth.

This is the best floss I have found. It is a lot like the flat unwaxed tape of old. Cannot get that one now for years. This one has the added feature of being silk and so will degrade. Very easy to use and get plaque out from the teeth. I knot it into a hoop and then go around my teeth. Saves on the amount you use. Have used now for about 6 years from Amazon and always good quality. You will find it works best if you buy the package with the glass bottle with a cutter on. Put your thumb over the silk strand on the top of the bottle so that when you cut it , it has room to retract back and you then don't lose the end down into the bottle.

The environmental aspect of this product is what made me choose it, as I was looking for an alternative to standard plastic dental floss in order not to contribute to plastic pollution and landfill waste.The packaging is great, no plastic in sight! Just the card box and the cute little glass jar for keeping the floss in, really impressed by this thought from the manufacturer.The floss itself is good quality. I'd not used silk floss before and expected it to be a bit weak, but it does well and while it does break sometimes when flossing on my tightest teeth gaps, these are situations when I feel plastic floss has also broken in the past. So I'd say the performance of both is comparable.The only downside is the taste or lack of it, it would be nice if this was a bit more pronounced as I can't say that I could taste anything. I took off a star for this, hopefully it's something that the manufacturer can work on in the future!Overall very happy and have just ordered some refills, to use the same jar as I currently have. What a brilliant idea!

Really happily surprised with this. Good thick material. Feels like it’s doing more than well known dental brands. Had a very very very subtle mint flavour. Has only snapped on me once and I’ve had it for well over a month now. Lovely little glass pot to keep it in that looks nice out by the sink.

Some of my teeth are quite close together, and when I try and use this floss on them, the floss always breaks, and it's quite frustrating. However, my daughter doesn't have the same problem, as her teeth are more spaced apart.

I know some here found it too thick, it's perfect for me and does a great job. I'd have liked it a bit more textured but that's just me. Doesn't break easily and I have some very crowded teeth.

I wanted a more environmentally friendly floss and this ticks the box for that element but that's the only good thing really.I understand why the canister is glass - but I'm worried that when I drop it on my tiled bathroom floor - because that's bound to happen - the glass is then not going to survive.Also the cutter on the bottle works well but the way the floss is wrapped inside the bottle means that it is very tight inside and as you pull out the floss to use, the remainder rises in the bottle and is jammed against the lid. Then when you cut the floss, the weight of the spool pulls it down to the bottom of the container and the end you need to pull next time is lost inside the bottle. You then have to open it & re-thread it to use the next time.I just think the whole idea needs some more work to make it a really great product rather than the average one it is at the moment.Oh & a very minor point - there's no flavour, but that doesn't bother me.Update - I dropped it as I knew I would - smashed to pieces making it a pain to clear up. Bare feet in the bathroom combined with glass?Then I had to throw it all or risk the possibility of glass slivers while flossing.Waste of money.

Works like usual floss but breaks occasionally in use but not a problem.
