My husband was getting small bumps and irritation on his scalp after haircuts, and this shampoo and conditioner set made a noticeable difference. Since switching to this tea tree shampoo, the bumps have stopped appearing and his scalp looks much healthier. The tea tree scent is clean and refreshing without being overpowering. The shampoo leaves his scalp feeling clean and soothed, and the conditioner helps prevent dryness, which was an issue with other medicated shampoos he’s tried. It cleans well without stripping his hair or causing irritation. We also like that the formula feels gentle but effective, especially for sensitive or itchy scalps. After consistent use, his scalp irritation has stayed under control. Overall, this set has worked really well for us, and we would definitely repurchase it for ongoing scalp care.

To start with...you should always do a skin test for a new product. That being said: what I am reading here about negative reactions is probably more about having allergic reaction to the Tea Tree ingredient . Not all the shampoos have it as an ingredient but those that do can cause several negative reactions. Skin test first. I cannot use Tea Tree ingredients either. The Purple Shampoo and Conditioner set hasn't given me any allergic reaction and appeared to greatly improve the look and feel of my hair (gray). The lightening was noticeable with the first treatment. Most shampoo has a smell and I don't like overpowering smells but the Purple Shampoo didn't have a very strong scent, it just smells clean.

Good shampoo and conditioner. The scent is nice--a little bit on the lighter side for a tea tree oil product, but we prefer that. The shampoo lathers fairly well and does a good job cleaning the hair. The conditioner leaves the hair soft and smelling great. Overall, we feel this product is a good value for the money and would recommend it.

I don't usually leave reviews. But wanted to leave my experience seeing all the bad skin reactions. I was surprised seeing all the reactions and a little weary upon buying this. I chose this one as it has very clean and ingredients and the price is very reasonable. I was using a previous shampoo that had argan oil and other ingredients that weren't too good. I had used that one for years because I liked the smell (although it was fragrance) and I do believe the argan left benefits for my hair health. After reviewing dozens of shampoos, I finally came across this one and was shocked of the beneficial natural ingredients in it for the price. It did come with the conditioner lid slightly loose and had some oil residue on the bottle, but not much of the soap itself had spilled. I have now used these on myself, kids, and my husband has used it. With myself, I have very long thick hair. You don't need much of the shampoo. It foams just enough to rub in well. I do feel like it leaves my hair feeling clean and healthy. With my kids, one has very thin hair that I am trying to help grow healthier and thicker. The other has thick hair. Even after them using it once a few days ago, their hair is still shiny, healthy and moisturized looking, and what I would assume is the argan oil- the smell is still there. Which I like, though I have seen a few reviews saying they find it funny smelling. My husband had even admitted to using it and told me to feel his hair 😆. He has thick hair and very sensitive skin to certain soaps. He didn't seem to have a reaction and left his hair soft and healthy looking. I do wonder though, if those who had had a reaction if it was either because of the tea tree oil one or if they had an allergy to one of the animal ingredients without knowing it. One being peg-75 which is sourced from an oil in sheep's wool. Or even the quaternium-18 which can be sourced from tallow. Or maybe even the coconut oil, as I know that can be a common allergy as well. I just wanted to note that to maybe help someone. Overall, I am very happy with this shampoo and plan on continuing to get it as long as it's available.

This shampoo and conditioner set is a generous size with 16 oz bottles. Finding the right shampoo is a challenge for me because I ultimately end up with an itchy scalp, but so far so good with this brand. The first thing I noticed is a little goes a long with the shampoo. I was so surprised by how much a quarter size dose of shampoo lathered up. It was actually too much, but now I know a very small amount is all that I need. About a quarter size dose of conditioner was the right amount to my liking. I like that it is sulfaté and paraben free because that usually means a gentler cleaning experience and should also help avoid a flaky and itchy scalp. The scent is Rosemary along with another main ingredient, Biotin, which is known to thicken and strengthen hair. My hair is very thin and fine yet I noticed a difference.

Over 45 and now struggling with extremely dry and brittle hair with lots of fallout! Whilst this makes a bit of a mess because of its colour it's made my hair the softest out of a lot of different brands I've been trying for around the last 6 months and has ZERO parfum/fragrance!!! it has a lovely natural scent with no awful chemical perfumes. I really hope they don't change this because it's so hard to find! Hoping it is repairing my hair a little and will end it my review when it's all used up.

Amazing for the kids as a form of lice repellent. I have purchased this brand over and over again for about 2 years now and it doesn't disappoint. My 9 year old daughter has sensitive skin and scalp, prone to seasonal itchiness and she has never had that since I've had this product for them. My 7 year old Son also had no issues using this shampoo and conditioner at age 5. Several lice reports from the school and their bus lines and mine have never had them! I actually use theirs myself periodically during the really dry winter months as normally I'm oily however, I do have the seasonal itchiness too. I pair this with Hask Tea Tree leave in spray conditioner for my daughter as she has longer hair but also use it on my son.
