AMT/ERTL Star Trek 3 Piece Adversary Micro Ship Set Romulan Warbird, Ferengi Marauder, and Klingon Bird of Prey Model Kit

I wanted something to scale for my Enterprise models and this got the job done for such a decent price.

I just purchased the Star Trek 3 piece adversary set.I wanted this set purely for the Romulan Warbird and I was not that interested in the Klingon Bird of Prey and not at all interested in the Ferengi Marauder.The models:>The Romulan Warbird is great because it is MUCH bigger than the other models. It is about 2/3s of the entire set. It is fairly detailed.>The Ferengi marauder is small and an ugly ship (not the model's fault)and the Bird of Prey is very small.>The set comes with a stand with three arms that hold the three models. That is a VERY nice addition because many current AMT Star Trek models DON'T come with stands = pretty bad because you NEED a stand for starships.>The decals are VERY poor and very few. This is the most disappointing thing about the set.>The instructions are okay and are typical of the times as they do the job but are not very detailed.If you are like me and just want the Romulan Warbird then this is a great set because the Marauder and Bird of Prey come as a bonus. I paid 25 dollars for mine and a dedicated Romulan Warbird model from AMT was much more expensive. Thus, I think it is a bargain.But if you want this model for the Bird of Prey then STAY AWAY as it is very small and only composed of 3-4 pieces.So to sum up: Great ship for Romulan lovers, great stand.

Ugly Ferengi Marauder detracts from all the appeal but the Romulan War Bird makes up for flaws. SImple and fun but need close attention to wings and detail painting of feathers.
