I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both thumb joints and a co-worker recommended this product to me. She had read studies touting the benefits of chondroitin sulfate for people who suffer from arthritis in their hands. I am admittedly skeptical of many over-the-counter products but I decided to give this a try. I have to say that after consistently taking this tablet for the past few months, I have noticed a positive reduction in the amount of pain and swelling in my hands. It definitely seems to be helping me.

I bought this for myself because I was afraid to take glucosamine due to my shellfish allergy. I really wanted to take this product, but after only 2 days I was in distress, having asthma, I couldn't figure out why my breathing was so labored. Upon looking up the specs on this product, I saw where it does cause asthmatic episodes. So, my husband, suffering also from RA started taking it. Within a week he was in considerably less pain.I decided to try the glucosamine, anyhow and it worked for me without complications.Regardless of why I could not take this product, it did still work for my husband. Incidentally, it gave my mother headaches. So, it is more or less a trial and error thing. If you CAN take it, it works, if not, use glucosamine.

Product was good. Shipping however took three weeks. Ordered on 9/15 and received on 10/5. Plan ahead if you're replenishing.

This product really works for my knees. The way I know that I forgot it in the morning is that I feel my knees hurting, then I go check my pill minder and my knees are 100% accurate--no placebo effect or else that wouldn't be the case.This IS effective!I'm happy to have it available with out glucosamine which can have negative effects on blood glucose levels--and make the chondroitin feel less effective.

As a long time user of purified chondroitin sulfate, I took a chance on source naturals brand since I use some of their other products.I ordered two bottles. Each one was a different size and color cap, but oddly the same use by date. The tablets are seriously the size of tablets that I have given crushed medication to horses in the past, and in order to swallow these tablets, I had to do the same, crush and use in juice to get them down.They terribly upset my stomach, but I soldiered on figuring maybe I would get past it because it was a new brand. After more than a week, I just couldn’t take anymore and contacted the seller who generously offered to provide a refund. I feel badly that both bottles were open because they can’t be usedI would say thumbs up to the seller and if you’re looking for a good chondroitin product, source naturals should be avoided

This supplement really helps the osteoarthritis that's starting in my hands. My knuckles don't swell and aren't as sore. Mayo Clinic gave chondroitin a great "grade" for hand arthritis, and I would agree. I will continue to purchase this product and it's gluten free. Important for me as I have celiac disease.
