Product arrived broken. It happens.. Amazon Website says contact NEXTSTONE. Called, they were less than helpful, but nice. They said contact A1Siding thru messenger. I did that next, they were less than helpful (can’t comment on nice, because it was a messenger.. ) They said, needed to return and request a replacement. Nice advice, I would be OK with that. Except, AMAZON did not give me that option. So, only choice was to return and reorder. So, two tries to fix, and struck out twice.. Not exactly standing up and fixing issues of your product. I hate this because it ties up MY money and my time for a product that is defective from seller.. I am behind on my schedule to get it done.Review of project: I think I was surprised that it is was spray foam filled.. I think it looks nice, but I question to long term durability in Phoenix sun. Also, website says fits a 6X6 post. I find it too big and will have to shim up my post so the foam has proper backing.. Since, AMAZON will not let me post picture for the return, I was force to write a review..

We put them around 6x6 pillers holding up our deck roof and everyone raves about how real they look. Great purchase.

Aesthetics: Had this ugly support column on the underside of my main porch. This looks so much better. It has better tone and surface variation than many similar products I've seen. Still had to touch it up with stain to create a few more pops of colour as you would see in the natural stone world. It has held up very well to hail, birds and being climbed by squirrels and chipmunks.You can't see it in this photo (obscured by the fern) but I set it on a bed of real rock of similar colour so it blurs reality and evokes a Roman Tuscon column feel.Technical: I had a 6x4 but you can make it work if you just add shims for sizing. Follow the directions. I laid it out first. Easy to cut if you have odd edges. Mine abutted a metal ceiling and it wasn't any problem getting the right, tight fit with a couple attempts. Took only a couple hours with common tools. The screws will snug right up, possibly through the product, so you may want to use a drywall dimple bit. I drove the screws upright so the holes left look like shadows rather than manmade. Ur...um, person made.

Item installed over our 6x6 post with no problems. Really improved the curb appeal of the front of our home. Made a nice Cedar cap & trimmed out with. Cedar.

Super-easy to install and maintain. Very elegant look. Would absolutely purchase again.

Absolutely do not purchase this item unless you 100% sure it works. We purchased and it was not the right look we desired. It truly appeared "plasticy". We requested a return. Was finally approved for one to realize is was going to cost over $50 to return this $130 product. I thought I would have been able to take to Kohl's and take advantage of their bulk return. Nope, be prepared to lose money.
