I love it, it looks great and is easy to install. Hopefully I won't find out how many miles I can travel with this thing dragging the road.

The guard should have been 1/4 inch longer. Skeg on motor was damaged on the side not the bottom. Was necessary to remove some material from the bottom of the Skeg to get a tight fit. I think it was designed for more serious damage. If there was no damage…..would hate to remove part of the the bottom of Skeg to make fit. Quality of material is very good. Easy installation.

Perfect fit and had my pontoon back on the water in a couple days. Only took 10 minutes to install.

We fish in shallow lakes with rocky shore lines. Boat ramps and docks are few and few between. This keel guard looks great with our black hull. You really can't tell it's there. Install was not too bad if you have some common sense. Follow the directions. Ours has been on almost a year now and no issues. It has saves the black gelcoat hull from unsightly scratches.

It had been years since I had a boat to launch until last year... In my excitement I unhooked the winch line to hook on my tag line, (too big on the tag line clasp), well let's just say the ramp was very very very steep and as I was gently backing down, the oh crap moment happened... I guess the boat was excited too, because it raced off the trailer a little too soon 😳! It snapped the skeg off, chewed up the prop, got mad at me and stared floating away... somehow I was able to set the brake, run down the dock and jump at the last moment to recapture my drifting companion. Thank God, no one was there! Bought this to repair and I can't believe how much better it handles lol! Fits a 2024 Tracker xl classic 50 Hp 4 stroke

Nice looking cover for a broken keel. The fit will take some work, if most of the keel is still there. I had to grind off the thicker rolled edge on the bottom of the keel to get the cover to go on.

could be depreciated after some time

This was so easy a caveman could do it! My skeg was broken pretty bad so I didn't need to cut it. So I had this on in less than 10 min. Nice fit and once the holes are drilled, the Chicago bolts go in easily , tighten and polish fingerprints off. Would definitely purchase one of these again, thanks Megaware.

Best way to protect your skag! Or if unfortunately broke one east fix! But add it before that happens!
