Great Product
I recently tried Allegro Coffee's Mexico Whole Bean Organic coffee, and I am thoroughly impressed with its quality and flavor. Here’s a detailed review based on my experience: Flavor and Aroma The flavor of this coffee is exceptional. It offers a rich and smooth taste with a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. There are distinct notes of chocolate and nuts, complemented by subtle hints of citrus. The aroma is equally delightful, filling the room with a fresh, inviting scent as soon as the bag is opened. The complexity of the flavor profile makes each cup an enjoyable experience, whether you're drinking it black or with milk. Freshness and Quality The beans are noticeably fresh, which is crucial for a good cup of coffee. The packaging is designed to preserve the freshness, and it shows. Grinding the beans just before brewing releases a burst of fragrance that indicates high-quality, freshly roasted beans. The coffee maintains its flavor and aroma over time, thanks to the well-sealed packaging. Organic and Ethical Sourcing One of the standout features of Allegro Coffee’s Mexico Whole Bean Organic is its commitment to organic and ethical sourcing. Knowing that the coffee is certified organic gives peace of mind that it is free from harmful pesticides and chemicals. Additionally, Allegro Coffee's dedication to ethical sourcing practices ensures that the farmers are treated fairly and the environmental impact is minimized. This makes it a great choice for conscientious consumers. Versatility These whole beans are versatile and suitable for various brewing methods. Whether you prefer drip coffee, French press, or espresso, the beans deliver a consistent and excellent result. I tried multiple brewing methods and found that the coffee’s flavor and body adapted well to each one, showcasing its versatility. Packaging and Portion Size The 12-ounce bag is a perfect size for home use, providing enough coffee to last for several weeks without compromising freshness. The packaging is attractive and informative, detailing the origin and tasting notes, which adds to the overall experience. The resealable bag helps maintain the beans' freshness over time. Value for Money Considering the quality of the beans and the organic certification, Allegro Coffee's Mexico Whole Bean Organic offers excellent value for money. The price point is reasonable for such a high-quality product, especially given its ethical and sustainable attributes. It's a worthwhile investment for anyone who appreciates good coffee and values sustainable practices. Overall Impression Overall, Allegro Coffee’s Mexico Whole Bean Organic is a fantastic choice for coffee enthusiasts. It combines rich, complex flavors with high-quality, fresh beans and a commitment to organic and ethical sourcing. The versatility of the beans and the value for money make it an excellent addition to any coffee lover's pantry. I highly recommend this coffee to anyone looking for a delicious, sustainable, and ethically sourced coffee. If there are any specific aspects you want highlighted or additional details included, feel free to let me know, and I can adjust the review accordingly!

Beats the F out of other coffees.
I had never heard of this coffee until the day I purchased it. It was featured as an Amazon special. It’s coffee, so the likelihood of it being terrible is slim to none. However…. I was entirely surprised as the bag had the typical, “Notes of” flavors and the like which more often than not are not accurate. This product is especially good as it is exactly as advertised, with a non acidic finish. Hot or cold this is an amazing product. I highly recommend as the flavor profile hits all the best notes. Caffeine content isn’t off the charts, which means you can drink it before going to bed without suffering consequences. Is it free trade organic? It says it is. Will I buy it again, Absolutely. In fact I am probably going to create a stockpile because sure as I am sitting here writing this review, they’ll stop making it. There are indeed hints of Cacao in it, as well as more subtle notes of hazelnut, without there actually being any in it. Wherever it is grown, the soil is clearly rich in nutrients because the flavor is vibrant. I have been drinking coffee for 40 years, and for 35 of it professionally. I am a coffee snob, and while I am a nobody, I can tell you what makes an excellent cup of coffee. There is no bitterness. I drink my coffee plain because I want to taste it. If you add cream, or anything, you’re drinking coffee for the wrong reasons. This coffee compares to some of the more expensive brands and meets them on equal or superior footing. That being what it is, this product is amazing. If you want to impress someone with a cup of coffee, this would be what I would use.

Flavorful, full-bodied, not acidic
I grind my own beans fresh and use a percolator. I buy other favorite brands as a change between this shipment. This is one of the best, consistent, full-bodied flavor. I don't notice any acidity. It's even fine to drink black, but I like organic cream and honey in mine.

Used to be my fave
This is super dark and oily I love this brand but I don’t think they’re making it anymore. It used to be inside Whole Foods but not anymore. Last time I ordered this amazon sent me a bad that was totally blank so I had no clue what kind of coffee it was. It was weird why any one would even sell it let alone put it in a box and ship it out. I got a refund but still. They should be fired for that! Bring this brand back please

Different but good!
I was searching for coffee that was organic and shade grown and stumbled across this brand. I love that this company is eco friendly. When I first got my order, I noticed it smelled fresh, but different than what I normally enjoy. I usually go for something on the dark side with notes of chocolate, this seemed more fruity/acidic in smell. When I ground the coffee I noticed it smelled a lot more smooth and it ended up tasting more smooth than I thought. The taste is hard to explain, but it's good! Definitely not super dark, but does have a lot of flavor to it. I will be buying this brand again. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I am kind of a coffee snob, I can't walk into a grocery store and just grab anything. I find lately, I've been having a hard time finding fresh roasted coffee. Some of the stuff on the shelves say it was rosted over 2 months prior. This coffee definitely has a freshly roasted taste! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Price hikes.
70% price increase since I faithfully started purchasing and recommending this Allegro Coffee. No longer a solid value. Too many offerings in this specialty coffee category to make this purchase a no brainer buy on repeat. With this 15.99 price point I am now trying other similar coffee brands more often.
