I bought this because I was tired of my husband complaining there was never any cold beer in the refrigerater when he would get home from work. I saw it at other stores for a much higher price. I wasn't really sure about the logistics of the product, but I bought it anyway. I gave it to him as a Christmas present. We weren't too sure of it when he opened it, but thought we would try it out. It's probably the coolest thing in my kitchen now (no pun intended). It does exactly what it says. You put a few cups of ice and water in, put your beverage in and turn it on. It turns the beverage (soda, wine, or beer) around and around and gets it cold. It isn't quiet, but it does the job. It's only on for a few minutes, so it isn't that big of a deal. I was also worried the beverage would explode when it was done turning, but nope, it doesn't do that either. Great product! I have recommended it to other "beverage drinkers" :).

I've been reading the reviews on this product for a while now and I feel like they have not done this product justice. I have had this product for a while now and its become one of my favorite products. Being a teenager living with my family you can imagine that there may not always be room in the fridge for your drinks and its frustrating. My first solution was to buy a mini fridge however they can be vary costly and having to pay for electricity it will cost me more in the long run. This product was my ultimate solution it had yet to fail me after hundreds of uses and it does not take to much maintenance to keep up. I will recommend not leaving water in it for extended periods of time as it gets really dirty and nasty at the bottom. I've also learned that you can improve the original use of the product to make drinks cold during hot weather by using dry ice rather than regular ice to super cool the drink quickly. This is a great product for a gift as its great for cooling circular bottles cans and wine bottles alike. Everyone loves cold drinks from an ice chest now you can have a cold ice chest quality drinks in just minutes! I highly recommend this product especially if you dont always have room for drinks in the fridge this helps you make space so you can keep all the food in the fridge! I give this product a 10 out of 10

I wish this didn't require the user to load in ice first. I wouldn't have bought it had I known that. My husband got home the other night with some beer that needed to be cooled. We went to the icemaker in the freezer and didn't have enough. This product requires two trays of ice cubes. I was expecting something that we could plug in that would have a cooling element of some nature. All this does is spin the bottle over ice. Then, you have to clean it up when it is done and dry it out. What a pain. It is very clunky when spinning a bottle of wine too. Makes a lot of noise. Personally, I thought the price was a bit high considering it's simplicity.I gave it four stars as it does work well. For those not concerned with having to have a couple trays of ice on hand and cleaning it out after it is done, you will be fine.

The cooler works just as advertized: it quickly chills your drinks so that you wouldn't have to drink them warm. By now, we are absolutely addicted to the Cooper Cooler and use it almost every night just for the fun of it. I agree with other reviewers that one of the downsides of the cooler is that sometimes it can be a bit noisy depending on the type and the shape of the bottle you use. Another annoying thing, as also based on other reviews, is the constantly blinking lights on the control panel. However, you can easily turn them off by pressing either "NO SPIN" or "EXTRA CHILL" buttons twice, thus keeping all the lights off. A word of "heads-up" with this cooler: be sure not to allow any water in the cooler's button area. This cooler is definately not water-tight. Our cooler died after we had accidentally spilled some water on the controls, and, then, a few days later came back to life as the water dried up. Otherwise, we love the Cooper Cooler and we would recommend it for use in every household.
