Q: Has anyone seen any issues with the strength of the blade??? Rolling? Chipping? I saw a youtube video review where the blade chipped badly.

Mine has functioned well with typical outdoor use and bushcrafting. I have had no issues with rolling or chipping when batonning,that being said if I were hacking into bones or metal cans and the like I would just create a small micro bevel on my edge to take the abuse. It is a man made factory produced object, you can get a bad one now and then but I am happy with all the Helle knives I have owned. Hope this helps

Q: Does the knife come in tube like most helle knives do? Or does it come in a box?

It comes in a cardboard tube. There is a sheath and cloth as well.

Q: Can you see any portion of exposed tang at the bass of the handle?

Yes you can see the peened tang on the back of the knife.

Q: What is the lenght of the blade and what kind of steel?

8 1/2" blade, and it's made from non-laminated Sandvik stainless. A solid knife.
