Very well constructed, easy to set in position
We purchased 30 feet of this drainage system and located them just outside 3 bays of our garage, they all inter-locked together easily and tied into gutter downspouts with a few simple connections. The rebar tabs are a perfect fit for 1/2 bolts (6 and 8 inch long), which I used to stand the system in the trench and set at just the right pitch for water to run. Once everything was set, we poured concrete for below the system to create a very solid foundation. We waited overnight to pour the finish layer to avoid accidental shifting, we put the grates in place and covered them with duct tape for the final pour, it made pouring and clean-up very easy. All the water flows perfectly...no more water in the garage or flower bed mulch in the driveway. The price for this system is exceptional, our local big box home center product was much more expensive for a system with plastic grates, this appears to be a much more superior product.

Professional grade - solved my serious driveway drainage problem completely
I bought two 3-packs (6 lengths) of this channel drain product and snapped them together to make a bit more than 19.5 feet of total length. it is important to follow installation instructions precisely. These drain units connect easily to each other. The installed drain DOES need to be fixed in place with concrete, with the proper downward grade, and there are holes in the outer hard plastic casing, along the length of the drain channel, for driving rebar or large pins to anchor the drain before the concrete work.I have a long concrete drive that slopes upward over its last 30 feet or so in front of my barn. I have a crushed stone drive just to the right (west) of the concrete drive, which slopes down only at the end. During heavy rainstorms and spring thaws, storm water running south down the crushed stone drive would naturally take a left turn across my concrete drive, run into my yard, and flood my flower garden.I solved this problem by digging a trench where the concrete drive and crushed stone drive meet, and by placing the 19.5 feet of drain channel in that trench, positioning it with a sufficient downward grade and with the high north) end of the drain just below the level of the concrete and the crushed stone. I anchored the drain channel with concrete (finished to slope down from the crushed stone drive's surface) along the right/west side, and I used expanding foam sealant in the slight gap between the other side of the drain channel and the edge of the concrete drive. I sealed the top edges along the length of the drain channel with exterior-grade sealant, and I attached a 3-inch Sch. 40 PVC pipe, with a cleanout tee (second photo) at the lower end of the drain, so that I can occasionally use a hose to clean debris out of the drain channel and the buried PVC pipe at the far end (third photo).I am extremely pleased with this product. I can back my car and van across the drain channel as I move them in and out of the barn and the drain channel is not damaged.

Solid product for the money
We used 10 of these to run the length of our 3 car garage where we had constant water flow into during rains due to the driveway settling over the years. The only issues we had was the grates not lining up perfectly on that long of a run and the grates not staying locked into the channel during installation (we were trying to do the hanging style install, tie 2x3s to the grate and hang across the dug channel to backfill with concrete). Other then that, they worked perfectly and pretty easy to situate. Compared to the much more expensive products at the big box stores, these worked out great. Update.. Product is holding up well, no issues after several months. Highly recommend for the value.

Drainage
This product works perfectly. We were having problems with rain coming off our metal roof and draining back into our garage. My husband cut into the cement and plopped this right in and no more water running into our garage!! Problem solved! Thanks for a simple solution!!!

Tough and well made
I installed this in front of my garage to catch water during heavy rains, as the garage is downhill from the driveway. This product went together easily and after installing it, withstands my tractor driving over it regularly and doea the job of catching the water. It has rained heavily several times since installation and has stopped all water from getting into the garage.. I definitely would recommend to embed it in concrete on the edges at least too for added strength. I Would buy this again.

Works great for newly poured concrete slabs
Super easy to install. Make sure you get some slope for installation and your concrete contractor slopes the concrete to the drain. Keep the drain about 5 feet from any wall. Cover the drains with blue tape or clear packing tape prior to the concrete pour.I used a 3 inch schedule 40 pvc for my connector to the outside. Concrete makes these extra sturdy and you can drive over them with a vehicle or compact tractor.

Amazing!
We installed the drainage system almost a year ago. I purposefully waited to review it because I wanted to be sure it would really work - and it does!!!! We live on a small residential lake in Kansas City. When we have heavy rains, all of the water flows from the street and homes above us through our front yard and patio on its way to the lake. While there is a drain in the front patio, it cannot handle the quantity of run-off that a heavy rain produces. The result is water running down the foundation and into the lower level of the house. We installed the drainage system at the point of entry and, as long as it does not get covered in leaves, it works perfectly. We installed 3 sections which cost us about $100. Assembly and installation was a snap. Amazing!

Hit or miss
First time I ordered, great. Needed a bit more and delivery day came and went and UPS said label was created byt never arrived at facility. So hit or miss apparently. Had to get a refund on the second order. Hopefully no delays in that.
